I just mean the consequences for Tunsil-related issues.

Probably nothing because it sounds like the Tunsil related issues are already known by the NCAA and resulted in his suspension last season.

Don't forget they also have ACT fraud that's mentioned in the NOA. That is probably the most serious offense of all that they are dealing with. Seriously I'm expecting at a minimum 30 schollies lost over 3 years with a 4 year probation

It all depends on to what extent Saunders came clean regarding the ACT and Academic fraud schemes. This involves not just football, but at least 2 other sports. That is LOIC territory.

If it comes out in OleMiss' response to the NOA (based on Saunders and ULL testimony) that Bjork & Administrators were less than forthcoming they're gonna get nailed, and nailed hard. That's also going to be bad news for the entire FB staff, because Coaches and Administrators are now also held accountable. No mote plausible deniability.

This is why Nick had the quick trigger on Bo Davis. It ultimately could've fallen on him if not nipped in the bud.

You mean the stuff that gave ULL 9 schollys over 3 years? ULL had around 6 players on the team and Saunders was have players over $6,000.

Once we see the NOA we will see if Ole Miss is in worse shape or better then ULL. Not sure if Ole Miss self reported it but we have been involved since the first Saunders interview.

Yeah, but there will be some non-NCAA consequences going forward I think.

I do expect NCAA punishment over that. Hell I expect Ole Miss to punish themselves and hope the NCAA agrees the punishment is good enough.

Saunders was just flat out lying to the NCAA and once they called out he just stopped meeting with them. A big reason he got hit so hard. Not sure how his testimony will be used.

I suspect 10 to 15 scholarships over 3 years is about right. I'd say 1 to 2 year bowl ban. Five years probation at a minimum and at least one high up at OM gets fired over this as "the fall guy".

Unsubstantiated rumors and such is all those in opposition have to hold on to

The only rumors that have been unsubstantiated are the denial from the ole miss message boards. No one else is buying that bs.

Like it or not Ole Miss is seen nationally as a dirty program and that will hurt some recruiting efforts.

The NCAA was already on campus, Tunsil was suspended for seven games, the altercation with his stepdad and its aftermath was out there, so Ole Miss' 2016 class took a big hit?
Perception may have dropped that class from #5 to #7; it's always possible.

Do the media hound FSU's recruits with questions like, "Are you a potential rapist?" FSU's recruiting is rolling right along.

Eeehhhh....

I think this is what we know:

- OM Received an NOA from the NCAA;
- We Know that Tunsil was suspended for a number of games last season and the reason was improper benefits;
- We know that Tunsil's instagram was hacked and that it revealed what appears to be improper benefits;
- He was asked about it and responded in the affirmative; and
- We know Tunsil has not cleared up his affirmative response.

What we don't know:
- What is contained in the NOA (we have heard it deals with past and present coaches, including a coach that is heavily involved in the ULL probation);
- We don't know if Tunsil was utilizing the permissible emergency support mechanism allowed under by the NCAA relative to the hack;
- We have heard, but don't know for sure, that Alabama suspended Bo Scarborough for taking and returning money from OM;
- We have heard, but don't know for certain, of pay for play with other recruits.

Things That Are Irrefutable:
- Freeze arrived on campus and has recruited better than any OM coach in history - even before he had any on the field success to speak of;
- Both Freeze and AD Bjork have adamantly denied any wrongdoing; and
- The NCAA has been on campus in the recent past investigating Ole Miss Athletics.

Pretty much anything else is just an attempt to read the tea leaves by any of us.
