"I don't want to help him because he's a a-hole" probably isn't a good enough excuse to avoid deposition though

Interestingly, Ole Miss stud RB recruit Pennamon (sp?) from Dallas specifically stated that the OM staff told the recruits the NCAA allegations reported by Forte were all from the previous coaching staff and not to worry. In a court document, Freeze specifically states that some of the allegations in the NCAA inquiry specifically related to Tunsil.

So not wanting to testify for someone during a person your close to is a unchristian thing. Please tell me where you get that?

Interesting thread but the bigger issue for OM is that a second letter is coming later as I have stated for several months. How do I know this? Because the Ncaa was in my old hometown long after OM received their letter of allegations. They were interviewing and got more damaging info. This current letter OM is dealing with might be trivial to what is coming later. I will continue to remind you that you heard it here first and I am 100% sure!

Why would he testify for Lindsay Miller, the guy who's been trying to burn his program down since August?

I'd respect that reason much more than this one:
quote:
Freeze says he's concerned that any information from the deposition could be accessed by NCAA investigators and possibly used against him ... and he doesn't believe that's fair.

Yeah, sounds like Hugh is worried about what may get leaked to the NCAA that could harm him.

i just read the clarion article, maybe hugh need to learn to shut up in regards to what happened at an event where he was not present until he hears more than just the version given to him by one of his stoned players. iow, if the step dad didn't hit the mom then i don't blame him one iota for taking it to court to clear his name.

So his not trying to get out of it just making sure the questions are related to the case. What a horrific thing to do.

What kind of damages could this guy get for "defamation" anyway? He is a piece of shite who tried faking an injury to get on disability.

Wow. Freeze and the old "good Christian man canard".

I knew he was Houston Nutt 2.0, but this is getting comical.

Because he wants to limit the question he is asked in a deposition to things envolving the case you judge him a fake Christian?

I never heard of it but wasn't sure if it could happen. Most attorneys I know almost never see court room to start with.
