You're wrong on both counts. I'm not arguing with you anymore. That's all there is to it and you're just going to have to deal with it. K? Good.
No prob. Just realize how ignorant it makes you look when you call Probst the best coach ever

And Hoover isnt? When Probst was at Hoover they were public only in name. People were moving out there completely for football and would have sacrificed human babies for football wins
The Bucs have some passionate fans, that's for damn sure. Just reading some of the Aubs posts in this thread shows it.

Nah, I wish I got 3 months off in the summer.

Do you realize that they only get paid for days worked so it's not like they are getting away with anything. Geez

Greatest HS football coach in the South, probably ever.

He didn't do anything that wasn't already done at Southlake Carroll. There are sports outside of Alabama.

True. Remember when JC came to Hoover and Joe McKnight put on a show?

According to wiki, his annual salary is 95k.
That's chicken scratch when you're supporting two families with a total of 6 kids....

Seriously, I don't know how the hell Rush supported two seperate households/family/kids, on his salary. How the hell his first wife didn't see that a large chunk of his salary was missing and start asking some questions way before the shite hit the fan is beyond me.

So say he is the best in Alabama, which is the world to you I guess. Saying he is the best in the country when Jt Curtis is 530-56 with 26 State Titles and an arse stumping of Hoover on national tv makes you look like an inbred redneck that doesnt leave the state

Damn dude. I said Alabama for a reason. Why so riled?

The population of Hoover boomed in his time at Hoover. Grew nearly 25% in his 9 years.
Hoover HS is the best public HS in the state, has far and away the best Athletic Department, and had a huge national presence in his time (MTV show, national rankings, first live HS football game aired on ESPN.) Hoover didn't need to recruit players. Families flock to move to Hoover with their athlete children not just for football but for all sports.

So all the video they had of him leaving players houses that lived outside of Hoover doesn't count I guess. And one of those players ended up at my university.

Nothing against Rush... he was and is a great coach. But to say he didn't recruit players in to Hoover is ridiculous. He has since done the same thing at his current school in Ga.

I do agree that some families relocate to Hoover if they have a son that plays football. As does a lot of other powerhouse programs in the state - Prattville being an example. Spanish Fort as well. But Rush made it a fad when it wasn't being done. His coaching ability got Hoover going... his efforts to recruit elevated the program to another level.

Rush had other income as well, not just his coaching salary. And part of that other income was one of the large reasons he was fired at Hoover.

His issues at Hoover are well documented in the retired judge's investigation. The report is in the public domain if people want to read it.

Chad Jackson is one of the top names that comes to mind. I forget how the story goes, but they had him living in an apartment so he could play football at Hoover.

Hoover is successful because people pay damn good money for them to be successful. That's a fact.

Hoover HS is the best public HS in the state

The last public rankings I saw had Hoover at 18, behind Chelsea and in front of Cullman - way behind Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Bob Jones, Fairhope, Oak Mountain, and ARAB

This.

Responded to that post also a couple pages back. They aren't even close to the top public school no matter who you ask.

I'll give Rush this, he took care of both families. Crazy as it sounds how many dudes are running around spitting out kids everywhere and could give two fricks about the woman or the kids.

My boys could play for him anytime. It's up to me and their mother to shape their moral character, not a football coach.

Plus, for those criticizing him how has he handled himself since all this came out. How you handle adversity is what makes you a man but some of you lads aren't old enough to have figured that out yet.

BTW, I hated the guy when he was at Hoover because I'm a Prattville alum but you have to admire what he did for his school, his players and absolutely on the field.

That's BS and I know that for a fact. Chad Jackson lived in the same neighborhood as one of my best friends going back to at least when he was at Simmons Middle School. Not in an apartment either, in a house in a neighborhood. The Jacksons used to watch my friend and Chad would come outside and throw the football to us when we played jeapordy.

You can take your "facts" and shove them right back up your arse where you pulled them from.

Once again link to where you people are pulling these "facts" out of your arse.

LINK

That says Hoover is #7. If you really think there is much difference between #7 and Homewood at #1 then you're a damn fool.

Btw Chelsea HS is all the way down at #79. My girlfriend graduated from Chelsea and her little sister goes there now so when you said they were ranked ahead of Hoover I knew you were full of shite.

ETA:

It's pretty damn sad that you guys are so jealous that Hoover probably beat your HS by 10 TDs that you have to make up lies to try and downplay it and make yourself feel better. Yall are acting like Arkansas fans when Gus is brought up.

So what makes you a man is how you handle the adversity you create for yourself by repeatedly cheating on your wife and maintaining a secret second family. Got it.
