I'd also add: what if we don't play our worst game of 2011 and beat UT to now have won 3 straight?

What if the ref would have seen billy cannon step out of bounds

What IF we never hired Fran?
Think of tailspin that might have caused bama?
Possibly no Saban, no 3 national titles, and decades of mediocrity.

Good for 2 more 4th place in the west titles

I'm not sure why you consider this to be worthy of a What if? 3 is just 1 more than 2 and is just 3, when we won 22 in a row between 1983 and 2004

Ours is probably what if we had hired Bill Self?
Mizzou basketball's top 2 candidates in 1999 were Quin Snyder and Bill Self. Mizzou hired Quin Snyder...4 years later, our archrival kansas hired Bill Self, and the rest is history

What if Auburn knocks down that final pass in the LSU earthquake game?
... Auburn plays Notre Dame for NC.

It really doesn't mean much for the series. It's more important that it would have guaranteed a winning season. I also like the possibility of winning our bowl if we win that. It's all about building moment for a building program.
As for impact on the series, it would guarantee our first winning record in a 5 year span since the 20s. That aspect is not really important, but it could be depending on future games. Wins over an in-state rival can only help in recruiting too.

What if Mount Cody doesn't get the block against Tennessee? Where are these two programs now?
Kiffin still would've ended up at USC at the end of the Carroll era. He was obsessed with that job and was a horrible fit at Tennessee.

Here's a good, honest one for Florida:
What if Urban Meyer takes the Notre Dame job instead in '05?
And everyone talking about Bear Bryant -- it didn't matter where he was, he was always going to end up back at Alabama. The only appropriate 'what if' is if Arkansas had recruited him out of HS. The minute he left Arkansas and set foot on UAT's campus, he was always going to end up back there.

biggest 'if' for bama is the bobby bowden nonhire ... no question about it ...
he would've had 20 years at bama ... 10 of those years weren't horrible (stallings), but 20 years with bowden could've produced some memorable achievements ...

What is Rich Rod would have actually accepted the Alabama job?
Saban would have come back to college football somewhere else I'm sure.
Alabama would probably still be mired in the middle of the SEC West putting up 8-4 type seasons.
Thank God for Rich Rod.

cant say program history, but last season....
What if Ramik Wilson doesn't get called for targeting, that got overturned, that gave Vandy a first, because as we all know the yards stuck, and ultimately cost us the game.
