Nope. Alabama is the worst offender in both sheer numbers, proportionate numbers, and magnitude of the craziness. Alabama fans continue to say what you say because without the idea that we are all Updykes in defense, nothing can really justify the large, vocal, and scary lunatic fringe of Bama fans.
By the way, just to be clear, no Bama fan can point to another team's super fan and say, "what he did was as bad as Updyke."

There are Bammer fans and Bama fans. This is a belief that many Bama fans have and ZERO Bammer fans have. The Bama fan hates the Bammer fan.
The Bammer fans are the the Updykes, Legends, Tammys (grew up in a family of Bams), t-baggers, murderers, flag flying haters, only thing they have are Nattie lights and Alabama T-shirts. This 85% of the fan base give the true Bama fan a bad name. Most of my friends are Bama fans and are some of the finest people in the world.

You're probably right but then again no LSU fan can point at another fan base and say they are classless enough to have a chant like STTDB. Like I said, we've all got our poor representatives. It just turns out that LSU's can be seen by the thousands on any given game day in Tiger Stadium.

Says the fan of the team that sings a song about beating the hell out of people, and then, damns the team and its fans to hell for over half a century.
That's what I'm talking about, they can't see the plank in their eye but want to pick the speck out of everyone else's. It really is something the blindspot Bama fans appear to have.
