Thrown 9 passes this year (for 69 yards). Career numbers include 1 career-ending loss to Ole Miss. End of list.

our qb is a giant and lightening fast compared to Hurt so hopefully knight can take the beating.
Hurts is taller than Knight, and as someone else said, a power lifter. He tackled Derek Barnett after Barnett intercepted his tipped pass for god's sake. How many QBs do you see tackling DLinemen?

Knight dind't need to tackle him he's not some pussy who can't run it right at that bitch

Knight will be facing a Reuben Missile Crisis

Hurts lifted in the under 150 lb class. He wouldn't even be able to make it past the prelims in his weight class now. He was strong for a skinny kid but there is not a lift that knight couldn't outperform him on.
He's also slower than knight by .4

Screen passes for 85 yard TDS. Hurts specialty.

Bama scores on Defense/Special Teams outscoring many offenses.
Defense is the offense. QBs don't play on defense.
Now what do you do?

Well they'll probably just gash you between the tackles like VOLS did behind our patchwork o line.

He grabbed on to him and held on for dear life until Cam Rob could come clean him up. Let's not act like Hurts de-cleated him

The injuries in our D allowed this, let's not pretend we weren't both banged up, it's not becoming

It's crazy if you ask me, I only expect us to win by 12....

I know they don't mean everything. And I don't mean to make this big a deal about this, but the line is freakin' alarming.
It's 19 most places. It crossing 17 so fast and still moving up is just, good lord.
The way Alabama plays, this means ONE thing to me. And I'be been saying it for a few weeks, fwiw. Everyone is focused on Hurts and Alabama passing and making big plays and missing wide open receivers and all that. I think people making these lines have figured out that Alabama's OL is underrated as hell and Alabama is back to being literally unstoppable on the ground. Which means everyone is toast.
An Alabama team wouldn't be this type of favorite in this type of game if people thought they'd air it out and get into some high scoring back and forth game. The line tells me the experts think they'll absolutely break aTm as they run for an absurd amount of yards...while UA's defense takes away aTm's run game. We'll all look up late in the 3rd and it'll be 42-13 Alabama.
ETA: I didn't mean to sound like an arse in this post. If it means anything, I'm NEVER confident before a big game. It's just what I think the line means.

maybe you're right, but you will all look dumb as frick if you're wrong and everyone will say they told you so because Bama does this every year.

quote:Probably a ton. Alabama's opponents get away with everything. Opponents have the least amount of holds called on them in the country(against UA).
We will find out Saturday as to how much flagrant holding is allowed.
Alabama's opponents average 30.1 penalty yards against them per game(against UA). Only 3 teams in the entire country average less then 30.1 penalty yards against them.
