My expectations at Alabama (when not lead by a Saban/Bryant type) are
- Averaging 10 wins a regular season (that means 9 some, 11 some, 10 some)
- Beat Auburn and Tennessee 2/3 of the time
- Be in the mix for the SEC West title almost every season
- Be in the SEC Title game once every 3 years, or more
- Win 2-3 SEC Titles per decade
Like Petti said earlier, if you do those things the national picture kind of takes care of itself.

This. It has been the tale of two seasons for the last three seasons at Arkansas. His teams have either started out slow and gotten hot in the same season or started out hot and gotten cold. Arkansas fans want consistency from Bielema, preferably good consistency .

Other.
Richt got fired because the talent level fell off, which led to getting shelled by anyone good.

That's fine. Our teams the last two years haven't resembled the UGA teams from 2002-2012.
Smaller, slower, less physical, etc.

Realistically, I just don't see Ole Miss making a Bowl this year

I have no fricking idea what to expect this season. I've been burned too many times.

I've been good Sarge! Hope all has been well on your end. Just like most people, work and family are keeping me busy.

Well, looking at the all-time record, Mississippi State (555-539-37) & South Carolina (559-536-41) do seem pretty comparable. Ole Miss (630-492-34) has done far better than either of them. So why the complaining?

There's a reason why no accomplished head coach in his right mind would want to succeed Nick Saban at Alabama.
