No way Huey's is 10000000 times better than Dyers.

Dyer's hamburgers are overrated, they're good but still overrated.

I usually get the hotdog sandwhich when I go there after grizzlies games or drunk munchies on Beale, and I go simply because you can bring in drinks from other bars.

Not for the food.

I made that exact mistake two years ago. Missed my exit, decided I could exit and head back south along the parallel side street.
The only saving grace, I didn't stop at any intersections and it was still before 5PM (daylight).

I felt perfectly safe on Beale and in the mid-town area around the Zoo, Art Museum, and Sun Studio.

Leave a day early and go to Tunica. Gold Spike is the best joint there.

Gold Strike, and I disagree with that too.

Horseshoe is definitely the best.

Lots of nice places around the Liberty Bowl, if scary looking black homeless guys approach, they are just trying to make friends and welcome you to the city. They will give you information about the city in exchange for you're wallet.

Because I go to every game. By the time I die I'm going to break the streak.

If I wasn't a college student, I'd probably go myself. It's too far away though.

But our fanbase is very loyal.

The hell you talking about?

If Aaron Murray throws an incompletion, 9/10ths of our fanbase run together in a big pile so they can fling themselves off the cliff of sanity into the pit of despair. I'd say UGa fans are the cattiest, disloyal bunch in the SEC. The alums hate the sidewalk fans and the sidewalk fans hate the university (particularly the administration)because the "tailgating ain't no fun no more".

Didn't see this posted, If you get to a street that is the name of a state, go ahead and say a prayer, you will likely be dead soon.

As to Neely's, not a fan of their BBQ just their BBQ bologna. MMMMmmmmmmm

And Dyers, I just can't get past the fact that they deep fat fry their burgers.

Beale Street is pretty safe, a lot of cops around. It's the rest of the city you got to worry about.

I'm staying 1.5 miles south of Beale, on W. Illinois.
