I know a lot of people like to knock Miles for the way he talks, but he does have an excuse.

Miles is very wealthy. He has a great family. He has a high profile / top notch job which comes with a lot of pressure. He has been VERY SUCCESSFUL at his job. Yes, just as successful as Coach Saban. Finebaum is an idiot.

Doing great!

I remember I kept quiet till the next day. I was a little quiet at first and then once I had a chance to take it all in I told them all about it. Everyone had told me how great it was gonna be and that I would overwhelmed, but once I got there I found my comfort zone pretty quick. It was much more laid back than what had been built up to me.

First of all, I couldn't care less what Saban did at LSU. Comparing what theyve done since Saban got to Bama and Miles at LSU, head to head Miles has shown he can win but anybody that has knowledge of the game of football will tell you Miles can't hold Saban's jockstrap. I don't think Miles is as bad as many people, mainly LSU fans, say. But thats just not a fair comparison for Miles.

You're full of shite. I know football quite well and have experience on the highest level in Texas High School Football, and division 1a college football. I can tell you that Miles can hold his own against Saban. They may go about things differently and may have different personalities, but Saban is at no where near the level Bama fans put him on. He and Miles are on par with each other, believe it.

Not a chance. Miles in some weird way may even have the intellect to keep up with Saban but he has a knack for being incompetent. Goofs such as time management at the end of games, inability to comprehend gametime situations seperate the two. Thats not even bringing into consideration "luck" calls that Miles have had go his way that if they hadnt, he might not even be the coach at LSU anymore. In some cases, these calls make him a better coach, but take 2 or 3 away and hes a coach at a sun belt school right now.

You're judging coaches off of personality and a little qwirkiness. Saban has had his fair share of mismanaged clock's, horrible losses to teams that shouldn't be on Bama's level, and has coached a team that has blown a 24 pt lead. Oh god, to the "luck" crap. Everyone has to have a few break's go their way, and if you're on the good side of it, so be it. All I'm saying is judging a coach based off of his/her personality isn't the best way to do it, nor is it the right way. You fail at your criticisms of Miles. The man is successful, and has been just as successful head to head with Saban as anyone. Miles has won 1 National Championship and has set the foundation to win many more, as has Saban at Bama.

He just doesn't get it. He can see the fault's Miles has made, but doesn't see fault in Saban. You know what you call those people, illogical homer's. I cannot believe I'm sticking up for you after all the shite you give to UF.

Don't matter Petrino > Saban + Miles. He can coach 3 stars up to be 5 stars, you just wait and see.

Time management is not a personality flaw. I'm sure Saban has made plenty of wrong calls in a game but theres a big difference between making the wrong call and looking utterly clueless in BIG situations. If Barn was as good as the aubies have tried to say they were last year, then the 24 point blown lead wasnt as big of a deal as everybody tries to make it. It certainly wasnt the first time its happened.

I never said Miles was a bad coach...as I said before, some of this luck with his calls have made him the coach he is.

Your talking LSU, I could care less what he did at LSU. Now the La. Mon. game was horrific. Contrary to my arguments, I'm not a typical Bammer Saban sucker. I think Bama is Bama with or without Saban. Some of these yuppies make me sick the way they defend the man like their Saban fans instead of Bama fans. I think there are coaches in America that are better coaches than Saban, I just dont happen to think Miles is one of them based of schematic planning of the game.

So did Saban look flawless against the team's he should have beat that were listed by the above poster? Miles has had some clock discrepancies, but he has also won those games. A Saban coached team shouldn't blow a 24 pt game, ever, sorry. I don't think all Miles' lucky calls have made him the coach he's, at all.

The fact that any LSU fan would call into the fine-bum show is very disappointing. It is a waste of time and gives him undue credibility. My father once told me, “never get into an air-time fight with the person that controls the air waves.” It is a fight you will lose every time.

He loves insight angry reactions from anyone that (sadly) chooses to tune in. It is only an attempt stimulate hate and hopefully boost ratings and ultimately, make more money.

Just say no. If you are a true LSU fan, you will turn your back on the show and not give it any undeserved credence.

If coach Miles were not successful, there would be no reason for someone of his ilk to give him time.

Bama is Bama with or without Saban or an elite coach ay? You may want to reflect back to the Shula years. Bama wasn't even on the fricking map until Saban turned that ship around. Saban put Bama back on the map. Same happened with UF when we had Zook. Meyer put UF back on the map as far as national relevancy.
