Dooley

"Tough, tough last month we've had."

"I need about six timeouts per half. I'm going to petition the commissioner."

"We don't have worry about kickoffs so much. That's the advantage of not scoring. The guys don't have to worry about how bad Palardy's kickoffs are."

On if he was wrong to start Worley last week: "I don't know. We pass protect pretty good. Unfortunately we can't throw and catch."

On Vols RBs: "Yards after contact, we're about at zero."

On how good MTSU is: "I know this: They're good enough to beat us."

On Bama/LSU: "Are you trying to get me to the set the line? Good God. I'm worried about Middle."

On when Tyler Bray will come back: "I don't know. He's sitting there in a cast. ...Maybe by the Vandy game"

inb4 Dooley is a douche for taking shots at his players.

He's right though, Palardy should've turned in his jersey, scholarships and his pride so we could give them to a homeless guy on the strip. We would be better off

Sad, but I think they may be right now.

This quit being funny a few weeks ago.

Once he wins some games he can start being sarcastic about player performance.

My only guess is he is trying to motivate his players with these comments?

Early on, it was refreshing to hear Dooley tell it like it is. However, there's no reason to keep saying it. We can easily see how bad we are. Do something about it.

Yes, I would agree at this point.

The rest of the SEC loves Dooley. Much like everyone loved Mike Shula. I hope he stays at UT for a very long time.

Look, if you like candor, you like Dooley. Problem is, all nice/good people aren't SEC quality football coaches. But, right now, my bet is that he is. I think he'll be at Tennessee for a long time. But, that's just me.

I agree, it's like he wants people to feel sorry him and he keeps making excuses, but in a sarcastic smartass way.

It was funny, but it's getting old.

Maybe instead of blaming everyone else, he could take some of the blame.

What will the hot seat be like for Dooley, if they lose to MTSU?

Don't see it. They really suck.

People will certainly be grumbling if things don't seem to improve, but I really don't think he's in much danger to lose his job until 2012.
