What are you looking at? Latest update has it Cat 4 and it's tracking Northwest

They just repeated it again that the track has shifted east and wind velocities have been lowered.

No because the game preperation was called off. Players getting time off. Coaches are going on recruiting.

Stop saying this.

This is stupid.

That was announced this afternoon. Everyone could come back easily.

Watching the Weather Channel. They are surprised at how weak this is on the Florida coast. No power loss yet.

They should have just waited and pushed it back to Saturday night or Sunday at this point

See if something drastic continues to happen

Praying for a miracle tomorrow morning

SO you think they will be in game shape and well prepared now that all activites were cancelled. Coaches are not working on the game plan.

No. We talked about not making a decision to move the game and being afraid that things would be bad and it would be too late and the game would be cancelled.

We could see the game Florida was playing. They were pushing this back to cancel instead of move it.

If they had made plans to move or contingency plans or ANYTHING AT ALL, that would have been great! But just sitting there like they did guaranteed the game would be cancelled IF things went bad. That is what we were talking about.

Now, the hurricane is weakening and going east 6 hours after they cancel with no back up plan. Utterly stupid.

Dude it's been 6 hours since they called off the game. It's not like both teams have been hangin out at the house all week.

This is why postpone Saturday, tentative for Monday should have been invoked. If it was bad, ok, cancel Monday as well but let's wait and see.

I've said all week we should wait this out and see what the impact is. Was told that was impractical and a decision had to be made. Now its looking like it is back to the old track and Gainesville is a viable option.

There was no harm in letting it pass by and evaluating after tomorrow. If it needed to be postponed make the call then, why make that call today?
