Only people that eat ketchup on hashbrowns are Texans and mental patients. The proper way is 2-3 eggs over medium, cooked correctly with runny yellow and a double order of the hash browns and mix them up together. You can add grits to that as well, if you like.

Hashbrowns, they probably don't know how to make good grits yet.

good grits

2 cups whole milk
2 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
2 small garlic cloves, minced
1 cup quick-cooking stone-ground grits, not instant
10 ounces extra-sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
2 ounces cream cheese
4 tablespoons butter

BRING milk, water, salt and garlic just to a boil over medium-high heat in a heavy, medium saucepan.
SPRINKLE in grits slowly, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
REDUCE heat to low and cook grits, stirring constantly, until they are almost thickened, about 4 minutes or longer if needed.
REMOVE grits from heat and add cheddar cheese, cream cheese and butter. Stir until cheeses and butter are melted and well mixed.
C0VER saucepan and keep grits warm over low heat.

Damn, Mizzou became SEC way faster than we did.

Hashbrowns (smothered, covered, chunked) and some Bacon. Get a waffle just because I like their waffles.

I've been meaning to mention it for a while, but this is one of my pillars for life.

Suzanna Hoffs. Mila Kunis. Dana Delany. Etc., etc., etc.

Hash browns, dark. Waffles. Omelets. Bacon and links. Biscuits and gravy. Any or all for dinner at the Waffle House. Salsa optional. Coffee black. Bon appetit!

There have been Waffle Homes in Kansas City for years and years.

They've been in St. Louis for 10-15 years, too. Just not on every street corner. You have to look for them.

I'm all starring it with aforementioned Hashbrowns, waffle, eggs and bacon. But a sammich wouldve been a perfect side.

Solid choice. You'll have plenty of time to try all that artery clogging goodness. That cheese steak is the only good thing with Texas in the name.

1) Watery grits are terrible. WH grits are terrible.

2) Order raisin toast.

3). Be a man. Order your hash browns with everything.
