Of Bama team tied with tenn at the half or a Bama team that let a div 2 team put up 21 on them. Goes both ways. Problem is Bama was penalized for their loss.

The only reason I have a problem with playing Bama again was the fact that LSU had to beat Georgia for the right to play Bama again. How on earth is that fair. Before some GUMP says life isn fair, this is sports. Its supposed to be fair. If not, what's the point of playing.

If I remember correctly, Oklahoma got to go to the BCS title game after getting stomped in the BIG 12 conference championship game a few years back...

Not exactly, Most Auburn fans did not believe Alabama should have gotten a second chance. Also, the controversy over the decision to let two SEC teams play in the nattie, a non-division, non-conference winner play over Okie State is one of the MAJOR reasons we are seeing a move to a 4 team playoff...
Football is still a regional game and it is difficult to know how a team from one region truly matches up against another region. tOSU teams are always over-rated.
I believe Alabama was the best team, thought it the entire year. They are the National Champs and State Champs.

This over and over and over. The BCS is designed to put the top 2 teams in the title. Of the years it has gotten it wrong, this wasn't one of them.

This is one LSU fan who does not have a problem with last year at all. 2 best teams played. We got crushed. Bama wins the title, and we all move on. This is why we always have a next season...

I missed the part where this year's game was controversial. Everybody knew Alabama was a top 2 team. The only people bitching were Ok St fans cause they wanted in and LSU fans because they were scared of playing Alabama again and rather have had a patsy Big XII team.

Uh, there was no BCS in 96, so bowls didn't choose who they got. The Sugar Bowl was SEC Champ vs. ACC Champ. It just so happened that they got UF/FSU who had played just a few weeks earlier.
