Wow, you hillbillies are as clever as you are relevant. Ray and Golden will be the ones smoking post-game cigarettes this year...

Mizzou wins 77-2. Bad snap in the 3rd quarter ruins our shutout.

Nobody isn't saying Dobbs won't get hit, because I'm sure he knows that he will.

You're higher than giraffe pussy if you think you're the only team playing with a semblance of a pass rush. Barnett and Maggitt will be pushing Mauks shite in all night.

In 3 games Dobbs has thrown for 2/3 of the yards that Mauk has through 10 games. I'd be surprised if he didn't have double the rushing yards with a better completion rating and TD/INT ratio.

He's done that all against SEC completion fwiw. While Mauk has looked pedestrian in every conference game outside of A&M and their 159th ranked defense.

Also, You keep bringing up last year like it has any bearing on Saturday. Kudos for getting him last year as a injured, malnourished true freshmen on the first start of his career.

All it takes is once for Golden and Ray to come off the edge wreck less and get burnt on a QB draw to the back of the endzone not to do it again.

You are going to be surprised by our speed on defense. I mean yeah, we pretty much have a NFL defensive line with 3 first round picks on it but the rest of the D is good as well and they all run well and our pursuit is very good.

Opposing QBs have done pretty much nothing against us in the run game so if you are expecting Dobbs to run all over the field you are likely going to be disappointed.

The thing is this.

If you look at my posts about this game and Dobbs in other threads I'm actually pretty reasonable.

But this thread is full of "FEAR DOBBS!!!" and Tenn sunshine pumping like you are doing.

We just spent a week hearing how scurred we were supposed to be of A&M's Kyle Allen because "OMG 4 FIRST HALF TDs AT AUBURN, BESTEST NEW QB EVAR!", "NATION'S BEST RECRUIT LIVING UP TO HYPE, SUMLIN OFFENSE BACK IN FULL GEAR!" "ALLEN STATS VS AUBURN BETTER THAN MAUK STATS, AGGY GONNA ROMP!" etc.

You know the result.

So forgive me, as a "Show Me State" native, in taking a "Show Me" attitude toward the new and improved world beating Dobbs Tennessee. I know you hung 50 on Kentucky. We are not the Kentucky defense. I know you scored at lot at South Carolina. We are not the South Carolina defense. I'm not boasting to say we will be the best defense young Mr. Dobbs has faced yet, statistically that's just the reality.

Now, could he in fact be a phenom and could he in fact have a great game? Sure.

But all this "FEAR DOBBS!" shite is funny at this point. I'm not afraid of shite from your still-downtrodden, struggling just to make a bowl program. Not yet. Not until Dobbs so much as leads you to a TD against us which he failed to do through 4 quarters last year. Not until the Tennessee program improves its .000 all time winning percentage against Mizzou. Talk is cheap. Show Me.

How many legit D1 - DT QBs have you played this year?

I haven't seen any UT fan say anything about "FEeEaAAR DoBBs" like you suggest...

I could be mistaken though.

At the sake of another journal entry from you and to keep it short and sweet.

There will be a DL that will hit you back just as hard as you intend to hit Saturday. For whatever reason Missouri fans feel the need to constantly refer back to Ray and this Mizz DL going to be the deciding factor in games... So, I just wanted to clarify.

The big thing is, Tennessee has a pulse on Offense.. Congrats on the A&M win
.

Don't say I didn't tell you so

1. WTF are you laughing about goofball?

2. Driskel, Harris, Towles. Not many, but the ones who normally can...didn't. That's the point.

Harris has some decent legs. Looks meh when not rushing the ball 35 times a game.

Towles and Driskell?

Dobbs will be better than all 3

I don't dispute that, but again...those that have had the ability to run haven't been able to against us. I doubt his legs are going to be a big factor.

I will be very surprised if he puts up any less than 50.

A heated prediction thread here...much animosity all around.

I think Mizzou's away-game win stretch ends at Tennessee this Saturday. I think my alma mater's lackluster offense and penalty prone play finally catches up to us on a close one.

Take away the lost yardage from sacks and Dobbs rushed for 100 yards on Alabama, 160+ on S. Carolina and just picked up what he needed to against UK (50ish?)

If they come out with the game plan to give him a lot of designed runs, zone read than he will generate yards with his feet. He's gonna get his and has done it to better defenses than Missouri.

What defensive "pushing in of shite" are we talking about here?
