I'm kind of curious where this confidence comes from...

Tennessee is 5-5 and lost to Flordia 10-9.

Their best win is against...I don't know USC? Kentucky? Or maybe it's Arkansas St?

Mizzou is 8-2, coming off a Road win against an SEC West team that just beat Auburn.

I'm slightly confused about the DLine argument, Mizzou has allowed 15 sacks all season, 28th in the nation. Tennessee has allowed.....33, or 117th in the country this year.

You guys are so fricked

The old Michael Vick came to UTk and is going to go crazy on us. We have a poster here who will be surprised if they don't put up 50 on us. I suggest we save the expense of traveling to Knoxville and forfeit instead.

This sets up to be a very ugly game for Mizzou. Night game in Neyland, with an up and coming team, a hungry and rabid fan base, this has trouble written all over it for the Tigers. I will be the first to admit that I am far far away from being a Vol supporter in any capacity, but realistically, this sets up to be a signature win for the Vols, and for this night, I am all in with the orange and white. Go Rocky Top! Vols win 33- 20

Hmmmm, where have I heard this before? Let's see...

1) Night game. Road Venue. Mizzou goan get their shite pushed in... Check.

2) New bestest GOAT QB is unstoppable and goan to push Mizzou's shite in... Check.

3) Dickriding media predicting Big 6'er goan push Missouri's shite it... Check.

4) Dickriding 2nd place fan base praying for End of Days and shite pusher inner... Check.

5) Dickriding fans of butthurt teams Missouri beat checking in to hope shite gets pushed in... Check.

Yep. All parties present and accounted for. Tumblers falling into place.

The Missouri Tigers... Billions Of SEC East Tears Served.

If they come out with the game plan to give him a lot of designed runs, zone read than he will generate yards with his feet. He's gonna get his and has done it to better defenses than Missouri.

No, he's done it against one better defense than ours and he also didn't start that game=little to no game planning for him.

Look, I think everyone knows Dobbs is the greatest QB of all time but we have a couple of guys who aren't terrible so maybe we can keep it close.

This yankee fear smells different than southern fear...it is more cantankerous and barbs the nostrils a tad. I can only imagine that will make the tears more delicious.

I'm souped.

So much confidence for UT up in here. As a Dawg fan, I have to remain cautiously pessimistic.

What I hope:
Tenn- 38
Mizz- 14

What will probably happen:
Tenn- 17
Mizz- 28

Mizzou is seriously underrated this season. They keep getting better.

I do too.

This is actually going to be a hell of game.

Mizzou's defense has held everyone to totals significantly below their running, passing and points scored averages, while our offense is quietly peaking to become at least SEC decent.

But Dobbs is going to be a great, big time test and I'm not sure how they'll defend him.

I can't remember the last time they faced a DT QB as large and accurate as he's been these last 3 games.

Is that you, Michael?

just to make a bowl program. Not yet. Not until Dobbs so much as leads you to a TD against us which he failed to do through 4 quarters last year. Not until the Tennessee program improves its .000 all time winning percentage against Mizzou. Talk is cheap. Show Me.

He hasn't shown you against the "mighty" Mizzou defense but he led at least 2 TD drives against Bama, 6 against USCe, and several against UK. If that's not showing you idk what is

The Mizzou fans's inability to recognize that a guy might have improved since his first ever start as a freshman on the road is baffling to me

Oh I'm sure that Dobbs has improved. I'm also sure that Dobbs isn't the only good QB we've faced all year.

The sane among the Mizzou fans are expecting a pretty competitive game. Given that last year wasn't competitive, I'd say we recognize he could have improved.
