Washington won because Penix is markedly better than Ewers.
Penix is mobile with a gun for an arm. This was a nightmare scenario for a team that plays in a conference where secondary pass defense is joke.

Not to dunk on my own school, but Mizzou taking Auburn to the 4th quarter in the 2013 CCG was more unlikely. That was only our second year in the conference.
The fact is Texas and A&M have the dubious distinction of doing the least with the most for the better part of 20 years. If one of them win...

Maybe at first glance. However UW has Penix and a good receiving corps. When you consider that pass defense in the B12 is on the level of C-grade arena ball, that could pose a problem for the Longhorns. I think it will be close....
