Butch definitely handled this perfectly. Good thing are probably ahead for UT. Nice to see a coach do what's right instead of just wanting to win.

As with all of your jokes, it wasn't funny.

Just extremely sad. Ever since AJ arrived at UT he's been a great leader, student, and person. Always thought of as a high character guy. If found guilty, what a shame.

I'll say this: if you meant no offense then it's a lot more OK with me although even explained I don't see the amusement (just the way I see rape cases).

I just don't see any of this as a time to take potshots or joke so you invoked my ire. There's a strong possibility a girl's life was ruined for as long she lives - trauma heals but it doesn't go away. And in the event she's wrong about it all, these guys' (hardly old enough to be called men) lives are ruined permanently. The damage is done to one or more lives no matter who is telling the truth.

And no matter how the court case resolves that trauma won't go away even for the victim (she wouldn't go through testimony, imo if she didn't truly believe that a rape occurred. THAT is a humungous step and belief can be as powerful as the truth when it comes to trauma).

Again if you're being forthright then that's ok not funny, imo, but ok. I've known more one victim that I truly believe not to be as serious as a heart attack on the issue.

Here's to hoping justice is served regardless of outcome.

From what I've heard, he's not guilty and won't be found guilty.

By all accounts, she agreed to come over for presumably sex w/AJ. However, even if AJ was not forcible with her. If the state can prove to a jury that he somehow lured here (aka aided/abetted Williams) then he's guilty of aggravated rape. It took place in his room and maybe he talked her into it (that could be construed as coercion which also bumps it the aggravated rape) which again makes him just as guilty as Williams.

I hope it's not true b/c it is then I was fooled by him completely. BUT if it is -- in ANY facet -- throw him under the jail.

They did a rape kit. They confiscated phones. They did DNA swabs. With all of that evidence the KPD did not make an arrest.

As my attorney, the former prosecutor, is fond of saying. "All they have is a couple of witnesses that are shaky as Hell."

They cracked down on illicit plunger sales and butt chugging. Those freaks had to find an outlet.

If the police thought they had a case, they would have been arrested long ago. This is just a district attorney flinging shite at the wall and hoping some sticks.

Are you seriously defending a rapist because he plays for your team?

People like you are the problem in this country.

No one has even had a trial yet you brand someone a rapist.
