If they move to a 9 game schedule, Auburn will probably move to the East.

That will not happen. There was talk about Auburn going to the East when A&M and Mizzou joined. LSU and bama would not stand for it. bama would have to give up UT if that happens. I haven't figured out why LSU was against it, but they were.

As Hart said, it's happening. So....

Has to be unanimous vote, right?

Good luck with that.

No it doesn't.

And what's Florida's record against Tennessee during those mediocre years?

I'm not going to argue that UT has been good since Fulmer left, but am just pointing out that LSU hasn't played the dominate Spurrier Gators in a long time and they need to get over the raping he put on LSU in the 90s. That is really what this argument is about and it's a dumb as hell argument.

It's all good, as long as Bama doesn't have to play Tenn, UGA and Fla all in the same year.

Playing Florida and Tennessee this year. Mkay tnx

So teams will have 5 home SEC games and 4 road games, then rotate the following year? Gotta love that balance.

The East division will all have five home games, and the west four, it rotates every year and no one will have an advantage for determining who gets to Atlanta.

or can the swamp kittens not handle the loss of half a home game every year against a double directional without the whole system crumbling? I mean I know LSU is a chicken shite program given what they did to A&M in the 90s

Yes but Slive and Saban got together and ran formulas to determine that Florida would suck in 2014. No other way they schedule that game.

Probably so. And I'm sure Alabama is traveling to Gainesville too.

So I'm imagining when there's 5 SEC road games, those teams will have a bunch of patsies at home to fill the schedule in those seasons.

Pretty much already do, don't we? 9 game conference slate and 1 major OOC should suffice, no?

Or stack your big time opponents at home... you know Florida currently has either 3 or 4 home games every year due to the WLOCP being neutral site. What years do you think they play Florida State at home?

How old are you? The amount of critical thinking here is remarkably low, even for a swamp kitten.

When we go to 9 it'll be once every six years.

Not for the rant. We will all be on here bitching because Furman wasn't as good as Western Carolina.

There's really no reason to talk about this. AU/UGA will never stop playing each other every year. The same can be said about UA/UT. Hell, we would leave the SEC before that happens.

Agreed. And there is nothing wrong with that.
