I don't think any one should be forced to play teams they don't want to, but frick other teams trying to tell is we can't play our rival anymore.
Hell, I don't want to play either Mississippi school, Kentucky, Vandy, Arkansas, or Missouri. Can maybe add Texas A&M and South Carolina once Spurrier retires.

I think his idea of balance would be to swap UA/AU in the West with UK/Vandy in the East.
Balance? I didn't say that at all. It would keep the rivalries intact, while not having permanent opponents. And it would give each team 3 games against teams in the other division. That way we get to see certain SEC East teams more than once in 10 years. That's the best way to do it if permanent opponents were axed, which fortunately looks like isn't happening.
I am not in favor of it, and I want it to stay the way it is. The 3 best games on LSU's schedule is UF, Bama, and Auburn, and I don't want that to change.
I for one am upset that Georgia doesn't come to LSU this year, and instead we have to play Kentucky.
I understand it's hard for you, as a Bama fan, to wrap your head around someone wanting competition for their team.

True. But I think some of the other big OOC games may be fewer with a 9 game schedule. There will likely be more home game rent a wins.
Fine with me, only chance to get big time OOC games these days is playing a nuetral site. LSU was supposed to have a home and home with Oklahoma, but that has been canceled. Really sucks, but that's the future of CFB.

9 game schedule is a poor idea

imbalance in regards to permanent opponents, but there's a group of us in this league that have been very firm in our belief that they are here to stay.
Using the runts of the league to do your dirty work. How Nobel of him

This coming form the AD of a team that is 0-5(last 5yrs) and 2-8(last 10yrs) against his permanent opponent. While LSU is 3-2 and 6-4 over the same period. Only a hillbilly would lobby to continue to have his teefh kicked in on a yearly basis.

I would be happy with a 9 game schedule that included UT, UF and UGA in the same year. Would bring back memories of when we used to play then every year. Except for LSU, we used to play the other 4 big 6 SEC teams.
When the SEC first spit we had two permanent and one rotating and we had UF and UGA as out two permanents. Hated losing the UF game.
Replaced UT with LSU.

I vote for a bridge schedule every year until eternity so Bama can play Kentucky and Vandy every year.
Lets expand that bridge schedule to include the entire pussy Big 10.

We never bitch when it comes to playing the JizzJars

This is good news. I wanted them to keep the "rivalry" game. Now maybe bama will have to play UT, UK, and Vandy all in the same season.

AWWW shite SON. THAT BOY IS GONNA NEED SOME CHILLY WET WATER FOR THE SICK BURN YOU PUT ON HIM. RUB SOME BUTTER ON IT, FELLA, OR BREAK ONE OF THOSE LEAVES OFF THE ALOE PLANT ON YOUR GAM-GAM'S FRONT STOOP AND SLIDE THAT JUICE ALLLLLL OVER WHERE IT STINGS AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, GO AHEAD AND WRAP IT LOOSELY IN SOME GAUZE AND KEEP IT ELEVATED BUT ALSO KEEP AN EYE ON IT AND IF IT STARTS TO LOOK BUBBLY AND shite, THEN GO TO A DOCTOR, AND IF IT'S AFTER HOURS OR THE DOCTOR CAN'T GET YOU IN, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, BECAUSE YOU COULD GET A NASTY INFECTION AND IN THE FUTURE BE MORE CAREFUL WHEN YOU'RE MESSING WITH HOT FIRE IN THE FORM OF ABSOLUTE692 BECAUSE HE'LL BURN YA. OH YES, HE WILL BURN YA.

No it's not. It's a tired argument that makes your AD look like a bitch. Florida is not always good. They sucked last year and except for the 2006-2009 seasons they have been an average program ever since Spurrier left.
You sir...are retarded.
3 national titles, I don't even know how many SEC championship appearances, 2 Heisman trophy winners...located in the heart of the biggest recruiting hotbed in the country...You call that an AVERAGE program?

If they move to a 9 game schedule, Auburn will probably move to the East.

....and switch with Mizzou. Yeah, maybe. The A&M and Mizzou invites were contingent on the continuance of DSOR and TSIO.

Thank. God. 9 games is beneficial for everyone. 12 years between trips to Knoxville is just absurd.
