Ole Miss fans are a different breed. These are the types of douche bags you encounter in the Grove:
They might not taunt you to your face, but they will turn their noses up at you because they've convinced themselves they are the Harvard of the South. Their women go to the games in high heels. By the time the game is over they are walking bare foot with their shoes in their hands because their feet hurt so bad. They are all required to drive a Mercedes or BMW, whether they can afford it or not. It's a bizarre environment.

Vandy has the nicest fans. They really don’t care that much about football or winning. You can beat the ever loving hell outta them and they will compliment your team and invite you back to Nashville

Tennessee wasn’t bad at all. Fans were alright, and their band even included A&M fans in the pregame.

There are some comments in this thread that are not too friendly…one thing that always amuses me from outsiders is this weird obsession with the finances of the OM people. Lol some of you find it impossible that Ole Miss folk might have a little money. I don’t know why, but it drives you nuts. Why? Can you explain that?

I've seen your student section throw actual bottles of Jack Daniels onto the field during Jefferson Pilot games back in the mid 2000's.
I've seen sorority girls throw shoes on the sideline after a bad call like an Iraqi going after George W Bush after gulf war 2.
Maybe your fans are welcoming to Vandy when they visit but Bama or Miss State? Nah.

My son played RF for 3 yr vs Ole Piss. He endured hearing his mother & girlfriend called everything by punks who couldn’t play dead. Ole Piss sucks.

Been twice, and this isn’t true. They were terrible in 2002 after upsetting Alabama in a 4Q comeback. Acted like they’d never won before and were taunting visiting fans like crazy.
Were much better in 2022 when they lost a close one and I had a 10yr old with me. Still weren’t very classy in the Grove pre-game, though.

They aren’t even the most hospitable in their own state. State fans will literally feed opposing fans and players. Especially at baseball.
