Bowers will make that list before Oriakhi. Not so sure about Pressey on 1st team either. He get's a lot of talk but I'm not sure if the numbers will bare it out if you look at their whole games (beyond just assists).

I think I meant to put Bowers not Oriaki anyway.

I think at this time Pressey is the best PG in the SEC. He seems to be getting better and better.

Keep in mind there's usually 7-8 guys on 1st and another 7-8 on 2nd team.

I don't think UF has a stand out player that should be on the ALL sec teams.

The team though, is better than the sum of it's parts.

That's why they might not lose a game in SEC play. Especially if they can stay healthy.

Patric Young, Scottie Wilbekin, and Kenny Boynton are all good players, Eric Murphy is solid, especially with his outside shooting, but none of them alone are too special. Maybe Young.

As bad as A&M is Elston Turner has to be on at least the 2nd team. He's carried A&M on the UK win. He's in the top handful of players in scoring yet he's A&M's only major threat so defenses focus on him. Its not volume shooting either. His FG% is just under 44%. Not too shabby for a distance shooter.

If UF has a player on the All SEC, its Erik Murphy. He's a solid big that plays efficiently.

Hickey is more likely to make either team than JOB. His steal numbers alone warrant attention

Hickey is good but I don't see how he can be above the guards I listed. The guards are deep this season in the SEC, the bigs not so much.

I understand some Florida fans being upset that they don't have any players on the list, but instead of posting "no UF players hahaha lololol ", try making an argument for one of them to be on there over one of the ones listed. This isn't a bad list and in fact it is a huge compliment to your coach that you are that much better than everyone, yet you don't have any standout players.

Florida players post here? Why on earth would I waste time trying to convince SECRantards of anything? I wouldn't. There are a couple who would try though. UF won't be left off the list when it is produced by the league. Surely you know that.

Only thing I would correct from that list is BJ Young out, Marshawn Powell on 2nd Team, and KCP on 1st team.

Agree, arguable he's been the best PG this year so far in the SEC. Doesn't have the "name" power of a guy like Pressey but hard to argue Pressey has been better than him for sure, especially when you take into account how much of a beast Hickey is defensively. Will be cool to see Hickey and Pressey next game against one another.

Patric Young or Eric Murphy is y'all's best hope to get on the 2nd team over O'bryant, but in the past the most dominant teams in the SEC have had at least one standout player in the SEC, and y'all don't. Y'all have a lot of really solid players that play together and you have a great coach. It would not be a complete shock for Florida to be left completely off the list.

You're judging based on numbers alone which of course won't favor Florida players because it is a well balanced efficient team. You can take anyone of them and put them on another team and they probably stand out more.

Guards are a "strength" in the SEC this year. The bigs, a huge weakness overall.

Of course I am looking at numbers. That is what will be looked at when selecting the 1st and 2nd SEC teams. And yes most of them could be standout players if they played for another team. But they don't, they play for a very well-balanced Florida team that spreads the ball around.
