I went to the WLOCP in 2008. The entire pre-game time, I had to hear barking in my face while we were walking, and watched a lot of bravado and d-baggery before the game.

We all know what happend in that game. (Best game I've ever been to). They were gone by the 4th Q, but the few who stayed by the end, none were friendly, and some were still drunk assholes trying to provoke hubby into fighting.

UGA alums are pretty good, if annoying. UGA recent grads are solid. UGA students are a mixed bag. There are tons of metro ATL civic-driving douchebags who end up at UGA, and far more of that townie, Gwinnett Tech contingent who go to Athens for big games. Those are typically the ones that suck hard.

UGA is good sized, I'd say about 2/3 of the school is normal SEC greek type kids who may get unruly but generally want visitors to enjoy themselves. But there are a lot of sidewalkers who come in to Athens for games and act like morons and wear the "drunk obnoxious Georgia fan" badge with pride.

Of course, not sure LSU has room to talk on this front.

Two years ago I went to Athens for the LSU game and Georgia fans were the biggest arse holes I have ever met. I have been to 8 road venues in the SEC. Florida is a close second and Bama is third. It was ok though. LSU has the same type of fans. I enjoy the passion from the other fan bases.


Despite their smack talk on here and constant begging to be LSU's rival.... Texas A&M had the nicest fans I have ever met. This is no where close to being a rivalry. Just a friendly game betwee neighbors.
