Florida sucks. 2016 draft projections is all they have to cling to. Let's not take that away from them.

On one-v-one match ups, Amari had 5 catches on 8 targets for 51 yards and 1 TD.

He had one 30 yard catch called back on penalty, and he had another catch called back for offensive PI.

The 1 TD was a spectacular catch under tight coverage.

Cooper himself said that VH3 was the best he faced.

Why are we still having this debate? VH3 is a future NFL player. Sometimes NFL players give up TDs to other NFL players. Whats the deal here?

I doubt he'll go top 10

VH is projected top ten in almost every mock draft out there for next year, and is top five in at least half of them.

Doesn't Honey Fagger have like 1 NFL career interception?

105 tackles

Coming off of a torn ACL.

Just for reference, Matt Elam (1st round):

127 tackles
1 Int

Not coming off of major knee surgery, BTW. Troll elsewhere please.

Perhaps. I'm still doubting it -- I see between 10 and 20 or so -- but we'll see. He's massively talented but his career has some checkers performance-wise on it that might drop him a bit. Not a huge bit, of course. As I said before, first round is almost inevitable. We'll see how he performs going forward. I'm not one of the doubters crying 'overrated', you'll notice. Just tempering my outlook a bit.

I don't think so. Coop is just that good.

The play calling in that game was a joke and makes VH3 look bad. A lot of Coopers yards came against the zone and not man to man with ZH3. They should get a chance to go head to head in the NFL , if Cooper really is so much better then he will have a good games.

4 receptions, 56 yds, 1 TD when VH3 was covering him. Also had 30 yd reception called back by penalty. Considering they went up versus each other a few times Cooper played better.

Florida fans are the biggest collection of pussies I've ever seen

I have a hard time taking their shite talking serious 2 years removed from losing to a FCS team

Seriously, all you should have to post is " FCS" to shut the jort wearing guidos up

Pat Towles (you know, one of the quarterbacks who dragged his nuts across VH3's face) begs to differ.

Hell, even Anthony Jennings looked like a competent quarterback against "DBU".

College defenses aren't designed to be flexible enough to move one man all over the field - moving one defender to match the one guy on offense before every play can cause absolute chaos. That's why Florida attempted zone against Amari and I'd remind folks that prior to that game Cooper was a household name only to Bama fans. College teams typically only have one good corner (if they're lucky) paired with a decent other guy but rarely does anyone have 2 true shutdown corners. That aspect of college very much advantages the passing game, especially WRs.

Cooper was dynamic enough to be moved around and was used to wear UF's D the hell out by stretching the field and forcing VH3 to run sideline to sideline as much as possible. Often Cooper was moved at the very last second and again college defenses aren't that flexible and they lack the athleticism of pro defenses.

Now if you want to shutdown a guy like Cooper in college put BOTH VH3 and Cam Sutton on the same team and let them worry about their side of the field instead of the entire field. Ironically, having both on the field would allow either one of them to shut him down by himself. However, with Coop being used in the middle of the field a lot you've got to have some decent safeties to go with your corners.

The one knock I have against VH3 is that he's not as good in run support but that's a minor issue.
