I think Amari is an exceptional WR, and Vern is an exceptional DB. Our DBs blew so many coverages it's hard to decipher who was at fault in some situations. Specifically the safety play early in the year, very bad. The safety play dictated the way the CBs played early on because UF was playing a lot of cover 3 but playing the CBs in off coverage, which isn't to the CBs strengths at UF. It's what they had to do to prevent big plays, and then still failed at times. I thought Vern was fine against Amari. Not his best, but better than most against one of the greatest WR of all time in the SEC.
