lol, a&m let the same depleted team come back and nearly beat them despite said team giving up 7 turnovers. Bama lost the turnover battle,

Well to be fair, A&M was up by three touchdowns in the game. The difference between A&M and Bama is the Tide never lets their opponent get back in the game. They have that killer instinct. That's what separates them from the rest of the country.

Except when they nearly lost to mediocre Ole Miss. Or managed only 3 off. TDs against Kentucky.

Tide already played their clunker game against Ole Miss.

I thought Verne retired several years ago.

What is he doing now?

Advantage A&M's WR's vs Bama Secondary. A&M DEs vs Bama's OL.

The big problem is going to be Knight. Which QB shows up.

Finally, somebody who talks some sense. Thank God Verne spoke up and said what we are ALL thinking.

Last week, Alabama COMPLETELY DESTROYED a team that, while embarrassingly shitty, should have beat Aggy by 4 touchdowns the week before.

Tomorrow, we are walking right into Alabama's rape-lair for hours of painful, punishing, pachyderm, posterior pounding. We'll be helpless to hold off the heinie humping. Our anuses will not be prepared for the opposable, self-aware, sinister serpent the size of a sequoia.

When it's finished, Aggy will be in the corner, shaking, and crying....and, oddly, wanting more?

He should be worried that if somehow ATM wins, Gary will jump out of the press box.

If you honestly think that Alabama is not going to run the ball down aTm's throat your crazy. We had 3rd and Chief. Your Defense is ranked 100. LET THAT SOAK IN.... 100. Your Defense is giving up 5.2 yards per play. Even when you do make a good play on defense. True to form... Chief can't get off the field. You red zone D will be OK. Your Defensive ends are great. But that's not where they will be running the ball. Tennessee gave the blue print. You are soft between the tackles. Cam Robertson is a home town kid and I cringed when he chose Bama. If he is on his gam, it's over....

Hurts hasn't shown that he likes to run it down anyone's throat from the games I have watched. He has run the zone read well to get it outside. Therefore, overpursuit and contain are more important for A&M's defense. Bama has shown an ability to run the ball down peoples throats somewhat this year, but I don't think their power running game is as good this year as in years past. They seem more reliant on "explosive" plays this year as opposed to 7 minute drives where they grind out first down after first down

That just means the opposing defenses haven't been able to tackle our ball carriers. We haven't been throwing over the top of anyone.

You mean the same defense that stuffed Arkansas 11 times within the 5 yard line?

Garrett missed South Carolina and played 1/3
Of snap he normally does vs tenn...

Verne is concern trolling A&M

If A&M hangs in the game the worry in his voice will be readily apparent

Do not bet the house on pulling that off against anyone else. We have been horrible in the red zone all year. Unless it is a close game late in the 4th quarter, when we will score if we have to run the read option play with our LT Dan Skipper being the pitch man, Arkansas hasn't been able to score on anyone easily down there.

Bama will spread you out and run the QB. We won't do that until the last series or so of a game because Bert and Enos are addicted to causing high blood pressure spikes for Razorback fans.

Guess what Verne has in his pants:

a) a banana
b) shattered dreams
c) Gary's hand
d) the captain's log
