"I'm a little nervous about the same kind of an outcome (like Alabama's win over UT)," Lundquist said before speaking to Birmingham's Monday Morning Quarterback Club. "Only because I think Alabama is cruising right now and what scares me is the Aggies gave up more than 600 yards to Tennessee.

"We had bragged about how much better their defense was this year. Well, they're going to find out Saturday."

aTm is going to give up yards against Alabama. I don't think anyone is arguing that.

But I think they can stay in the game.

You guys don't match personal wise. They will dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. It's going to be a blow out. Saban is smart in the way he recruits. If you go back and look at the first thing he did coming to LSU and Alabama... You will see he started with offensive and defensive lineman. He Builds his team around them. That's why you will have to pass and almost abandon the run. And once you do that. Its over. - Really miss Saban lol

lol, a&m let the same depleted team come back and nearly beat them despite said team giving up 7 turnovers. Bama lost the turnover battle, handed tennessee the ball in the redzone for their only td, and still blew them out by 39 points.

aTm can get after the passer. They'll have to stack the box some, no doubt.

Offensively, they can't turn the ball over. They'll have to play well, but I don't think this is a situation where aTm will have to play their A-game just to stay within 21 points.

Alabama might be due for a clunker of a game, too. They seem to have one every season, and I highly doubt it will be against LSU. This could be the one. I think aTm can keep this to a 10-14 point loss.

Lmao. Your d almost gave up 700 yards to a team without a qb, that really is not a very good team and is fortunate to have a winning record. Only reason you even beat Tenn is that had 7 turnovers, and it STILL took overtime. Delusional isn't even the word.

it's like.. people just don't watch football.
[

Look. Texas A and M's front 4 can play with any fu cking body iunt he god damn country. That much i promise you. if you think a team with the conscious number 1 pick on their team is about to get pushed around off the line of scrimmage than you're a fricking idiot.

it's like everyone forgot their best player was rolled the frick up in the arkansas game and had to miss the south carolina game and just came back for the tennesse game. those stats if their boy is back don't mean jack shite.

And what makes him so good is that he can play inside or on the other side. he can find his weak spot and wreck havock. Chavis is too god damn good of a D coordinator and that D is too good to get blown out by anyone.

The key of the game is not bama's front 4 against texas and am. knight is much, much faster than dobbs, and a better passer but neither is very good but bama is going to get theres, knight is going to scramble some it's what they do.

the key to the game is going to come down to one thing. Can the aggies get pressure on hurts, contain (no one can STOP) and keep him contained without bringing safety help. I don't know. I think they can. We will find out saturday

if the CAN, you can throw all the lines out the window bama is in fricking trouble. Hurts isn't a good enough passer to beat the aggies back 7 with his ARM.

If they can't, i might as well head to the liquor store and get my dad the vodka we bet lol

the key to beating bama is containing hurts and making him throw the ball pass 10 yards. any team that can do that has a legit shot against bama. no one has been able to yet.

If you honestly think that Alabama is not going to run the ball down aTm's throat your crazy. We had 3rd and Chief. Your Defense is ranked 100. LET THAT SOAK IN.... 100. Your Defense is giving up 5.2 yards per play. Even when you do make a good play on defense. True to form... Chief can't get off the field. You red zone D will be OK. Your Defensive ends are great. But that's not where they will be running the ball. Tennessee gave the blue print. You are soft between the tackles. Cam Robertson is a home town kid and I cringed when he chose Bama. If he is on his gam, it's over....

Second, Alabama's defensive lineman stunt better than any team in the country. They do it so well the don't really have to blitz that much. That means the two safeties can roam. And regarless of what you think. Knight isn't a Cam Newton or a Vince Young.

Ridiculous hype. Alabama's going to have to drop a game at some point because this level of talk is next to impossible for college aged kids to tune out.

This would be a great point...if being a phenomenal pass rusher made you a great run stopper.

True, but step one to that plan has to include holding Bama's run game to at least a manageable level. If you can contain the run AND get pressure on Hurts, then you're in good shape. But to do both you either have to have a defensive coordinator with ESP, or find a defensive scheme that can stuff the run and rattle the QB from the same formation (haven't seen that one yet)
