Bama is going to open up a can, he's right this game will get ugly. It's been 30 yrs since we have seen a 19 pt spread among top 6 squads and the Crimson will probably cover very easily.

I don't think we are going to win, but honestly the more people come out and say we have no chance and are going to get destroyed, the more that gives me pause and wonder if I've got it right. I've seen this before, (OU vs Florida State in the 2001 Orange Bowl is one that immediately comes to mind) where it seems that the prognostications are all out of whack based on what I've seen in the games and generally that is not good for a favorite.
Alabama might destroy A&M but if they do, its gonna be on defense and special teams, and there is no way I would make a bet on a team to cover based on expecting pick 6's or punt returns to make it happen.

Alabama is ranked 5th in the country in total defense. They allow 274 yards per game.
A&M is ranked 98th in the country in total defense. They allow 437 yards per game.
Alabama is a 19 point favorite.
