Stanford from what I understand does not differentiate between student and student athlete. Meaning they do not use the sliding scale most colleges do including every school in the SEC(maybe Vandy the exception) to admit athletes in the program.

al.com just did a story that claimed bammer grads only had the 7th highest average salary among colleges in the state of Alabama. I think garbage men might make more money than the average bammer grad

Baylor is an excellent school. Don't let the atrocities of the Ken Starr/ Art Briles regime prejudice your perspective

The U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis is last in the survey?

Yeah, this is real legit.

When the University of Phoenix gets their football program, look out Bama. Oh never mind, Tuscaloosa is one of their campuses.

Stanford will view athletic skill as a unique attribute and it will give an athlete a step up against another student who doesn't have that attribute, so it will work out the same in the end.

Look, I'm no fan of Texas but they belong on that list and in the top 10, easy. Great school, traditional powerhouse, and you live in Austin. That Rice is on the list and UT isn't is a joke. Throw that piece of shite list out.

The clear number 1 and only is Stanford. No one is going to play football and get a great education anywhere else if they're trying to go pro.
