Stopped at number 2 w/TCU. It's a fricking party school to the max. My brother didn't even have to open his books to get As in his classes when he was there waiting for Tulane to reopen due to Katrina.

here you go, smart arse.

quote:

Stanford has produced the same totals (98 percent GSR, 95 percent FGR) for the third consecutive year. In 2013, the Cardinal boasted a GSR of 97 percent while its FGR score was 93 percent.

quote:

Football received a GSR of 99 percent for the third consecutive year. That total leads all Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) institutions and ranks 11 points higher than the next Pac-12 school (UCLA - 88 percent).

This entire list is a product of the NCAAs rule on academic progress. Schools will put athletes in degree programs to make it easy on themselves and the athlete. The funny thing is the schools are seeing some of these early graduate transfers effecting their programs, so now they will slow that progress down.

Maybe they bumped Stanford down because they play two or three home football games before the students actually show up for class in late September.

Hence, not one of the best places to play college football?

they even have a 76% on time graduation rate.

at Stanford.

So 90+% of Stanford football players graduate, and 76% of them graduate on time.

Yet their players, according to some, don't progress academically?

LSU academics are straight trash, and their football team won 8 games. Why would they be on the list?

He means they're already smart so they're grades/standardized scored, etc will not progress as much as they would at a school admitting lower intelligence players and getting them to sit down and try to actually learn for the first time in their lives. He's not saying Stanford is a bad school by any means
