Well if you think you can get away with everything (under Urban, Hernandez got away with everything) and no one tells you no, you don't think that'll have some sort of effect?

Urban had plenty of chances to suspend him and tell Hernandez that he was doing wrong, but never did anything about it. Did Urban pull the trigger? Of course not, but he certainly didn't help in preventing Hernandez from becoming a monster. Urban helped create the narcissistic attitude that Hernandez clearly had.

You keep saying Urban Urban Urban. What about his coach in the NFL.

Do you have a list of "everything" AH got away with under Meyer? If you can only point to one investigation where no one even knows if he was involved then your definition of everything is different than mine.

Him going back to the northeast after college was what really did him in. His gang stuff ramped right back up.

If Meyer was the coach of Florida still there is a 0% chance you would be saying this

The only person liable for Aaron's actions is Aaron.

Like I said previously. Better get ready for it, Urban will go out in flames. A regular season loss this year, and another flameout in the playoffs should just about do it.

Urban will continue to dominate the Big 10 as long as he is there I am afraid. Yeah, he'll have the occasional year where he does bad, but they'll forgive him for it.

He's not going anywhere unless he has another "heart attack," sleeps with another grad assistant, has some other big controversy or otherwise retires.

Ehh, I'm almost going to guarantee you haven't taken a look at the way he has worked at OSU so far, and are basing things completely off his behavior at Florida.

The guy has been a winner his entire career, yet people think he's going to stop winning.

Urban Meyer catered to Aaron Hernandez in every way. He was buddies with him.

Probably best for his safety and well being to buddy up with that psychopath.

I wonder if you would have started this thread if Urban was still the coach at UF. Seems like you're just mad Urban is having success at OSU while Florida is struggling.

So you don't think there was a thing Urban could do?

What do YOU think he could have done? At what point do you hold that person acccountable? Did Urban send him subliminal messages about killing people? Did he somehow compel him to pull the trigger?

If Urban had suspended Hernandez a time or two for stuff he did at UF, who knows. He could have changed enough to not kill people and think it was ok.

Hernandez simply became a narcissist and thought he could get away with murder. Urban helped me become a narcissist by never telling him no when he should have.

Hernandez was in that rare 1% category where if you found out that he was truly coming for you than you better make sure you surprise him and get him first. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 regarding someone like that.

Back in the 80s My uncle's buddy/enforcer was that way. He got murdered on his front porch smoking a cigarette by a guys brother who knew he would kill him if he didn't kill him first. Posted up in a tree at night time in a small patch of woods right by his house and shot him with a rifle. That's the same type of situation that you would have had to do to Hernandez if you knew he wanted you scratched out. Dude was a sociopath who had the world in the palm of his hand and just couldn't flip the switch from being a piece of shite to a decent human being and enjoying those millions.

Sad honestly

You're either extremely naive, trolling, or really frickin' stupid if you think a suspension or 2 would have made a difference.

Didn't say it absolutely would have, but, the point of discipline is to make a point.

Just saying it could have made a difference.

Sitting around and doing absolutely nothing definitely did not make a difference.

Did he kick the three players that were accused of rape off the team or suspend them right away?
