Urban Meyer catered to Aaron Hernandez in every way. He was buddies with him. He was no father figure. He wasn't the only one that Urban catered to, but Urban in no way shape or form tried to make Aaron a better person. God only knows how much stuff Urban covered up that Hernandez was involved in while he was at Florida.

There's still even an ongoing investigation of a murder that occurred in Gainesville while Hernandez was here -- he's a person of interest in that case.

I blame Urban for putting the championship first instead of trying to "raise great guys," as he has always preached that he was supposedly doing.

Let's hold Urban liable. Maybe not in the legal sense, but definitely in the moral and ethical sense. I hope he feels shamed by all of Hernandez's actions.

Y'all should return the trophies Urbs won then. They are tainted.

Urban and Saban are like robots. They don't care about people. They only care about winning and they will do whatever it takes to be put in the best position to win.

Urban Meyer was greatly impacted by one of his first Gator recruits Avery Atkins. He had to kick him off the team and the kids life spiraled out of control. Eventually ended up killing himself in 2007. It had a major impact on Meyer's approach to discipline afterward.

Maybe we should hold all FL posters liable; ban them for life or until they commit suicide.

I mean if you want to go full retard, do it right.

If I am a recruit, I would avoid going to Urban. He seems to have a high rate of suicides/deaths of players he's coached. Seems to be a lot higher of a percentage than the general population. Coincidence? I think not.

Meyer is pretty much a POS. That said, it would seem difficult to think that he imparted anything to Hernandez that would give him the idea that he could get away with murdering someone.

So he became a non-disciplinarian. I have known that for years. You just confirmed it. Thanks!

I'm sure you'd want him held liable if he was still coaching at Florida.

Bruh. Get real. What about his parents? Belichick? His friends. Or, here's a novel thought, HIMSELF.

Hernandez came to Florida under Meyer, continued to be a huge thug, won a national championship (while being "catered" to) and got drafted to the NFL. I mean what ever happened to him that would have convinced him he needed to change and be a better person? Meyer truly did have a hand in creating or at least maintaining the monster

Urban would always preach that he would be a father figure to the kids and try to make them "men."

Yeah.... OK!

Except for the countless interviews from former players who have stated the exact opposite of what you've said - about both Urban and Saban. But sure. You prolly know better than people who, you know, actually have been around those coaches for extended periods of time.
