You serious? They are interupting Sports Center to talk about this like they did when the pay for play allegations came out?

i'll admit i don't think this is a big issue and i hate to agree with finebaum but i think clay travis will continue to run with the story to "pimp" his website. Just glad some of the focus is on you guys..if only for a minute.

You are talking about the coverage..not the story.

ESpn broke SC to talk about somethign that has turned out to be nothing(thus far)...if they did that now, the situation wouldbe the same(thus far).

Well yea...becuase we were awesome and you guys were arguing about who the best 1 loss team was.

I jest.

But surely you see that it's the comparison that a violation MAY HAVE OCCURED. Now granted our violation that may have occured is a lot bigger, but stil apples to apples...ours just happens to be a huge fricking apple.

Not a flame, but if any player simply denied knowledge, such as Cam did, how would the NCAA prove they had knowledge? They are his signed memorabilia; how is it Trent Richardson's job to police what this man does with his own property?

Sorry. I am very ignorant about this SCANDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm talking about the coverage and the story. Clay Travis, and his new website, are the lead for this one. The Cam stuff was SC and the ilk. Thus covers the coverage. As to the story, Pay for Play involving the most dynamic player of the year vs. something that could cause a player to sit is to compare apples and oranges.

I get it. AU folks just want their pound of flesh. If the situation was reversed, I would probably feel the same way.

Thing is nobody is saying Trent has done anything wrong. This story was a rewrite from the Bunker. Travis took a story from a blog.

I'm talking about even before the SC stuff came out. Literally during the first week or so that stories started to surface about Cam. All it was were rumors, no major media outlets had anything about it yet. However, thread after thread here.

Its a moot point, but this is still an issue until proven otherwise, and we should be able to post about it until it is proven not one without the threat of getting the thread whacked or getting banned.

As long as the TIDE is not on a NCAA imposed diet, I can take it.

Doesn't matter where it came from, doesn't matter if it is getting the press now.. .All that matters is how truthful it is...

The BIG question to me, is that actual game used merchandise that the PLAYERS gave to Ttown? Why would so many of them give away Jerseys, Gloves, Helmets...

If there were just signing stuff, I can see it...

Also what is important, is what did Alabama know, what they did about it, and did they stop it?

Question for anyone that has been keeping up with this "scandal":

I read somewhere that there was a you tube commercial featuring G-Mac pimping the guys store. Is this true? Has anyone seen it? Was this commercial made before or after G-Mac finished his college career?

Being that it was G-Mac, I assume it wasn't made until after, but I was just curious.

If he is signing jerseys and they are being sold at a higher price...then yes he is.
