timing is the only difference here...TR is pretty important and this would get more pub in teh fall.

I will say this one last time. Pay for play that could end in the vacating of a BCS championship season, and rip a program to shreds vs. a player sitting a couple of games. Now, I guess we should get back to the story. I don't want Ice or Rummy to think I'm doing to "gotcha" bullshite.

When did these become game worn. The pic of Trent still had tags on it.

Agreed, but there were 2 to 3 posters that were just trolling with it. They were taking their pound of flesh and then some. I thought the admins were right to step in. It was getting way out of control. Although, I think the admins could have done a better job controlling the flamefest AU fans have endured, that doesn't mean allowing it to continue is the best move.

the article by clay travis stated that alabama stated that some of the signed items made it to a nearby kiosk where it was resold

dont forget youre still on probation. things could get bad for alabama if they find out suits were being traded for signed memorabilia...

I read somewhere that there was a you tube commercial featuring G-Mac pimping the guys store. Is this true? Has anyone seen it? Was this commercial made before or after G-Mac finished his college career?

I believe it was after his college career was over. Also, if there is any player that I trust wouldn't do something to screw up his eligibility, it would be him.

I understand your point, but it would depend on how long this has been going on (assuming there is anything wrong found) to determine how severe any potential sanctions might be, right?

I'll rephrase it for ya. Pay for play that could end up in the vacating of a season and rip a program to shreds. Better?

clay travis and his kind suck arse. it's like the national enquirer has taken over sports reporting. hacks trying to make a name for themselves by trying to tear down a school.

That was my thought as well. Does anyone have a link to it? I would love to see it. I'm imagining something on the level of the Jason Campbell, dancing Indian commercial.

This, and the Barry Sanders video, will amount to a stern letter from the NCAA.

Thanks WDE! :fistbump:

It is full of cheese, but it isn't to the Dancing Indian level...which may be my favorite thing ever.
