Lol, we weren't expected to be a tournament team prior to the season.

No shite we couldn't handle the SEC. We had one brilliant 6 game stretch, and a bunch of close road OOC losses.

Lunardi is just a guy. He doesn't have some advanced formula or insider knowledge telling him what the committee will do. He's just guessing like the rest of us.

There aren't a lot of them, but there are some bracketologists with UF in. See OP.

People talk in absolutes, but none of us really have any clue what the committee will do. Based off my experience following and doing bracketology, I think we have good of a shot as any SEC bubble team sans Vamderbilt.

We'll see.

Your best SEC win was UGA and finished with the same SEC record as Arkansas. Yet some of you want to sit here and argue UF should get in, or still has a chance.

Let that sink in.

Oh and a month ago I stated the SEC deserves no more than 3 teams in, and i got blasted for saying that. GatorsGators was definitely was of those lemmings blasting me for it, now we may only get 2 in.

SEC is awful.

So the SEC only gets 2 teams in? That is ridiculous.

Yeah, I was wrong. Pretty much every bubble SEC team collapsed.

Doesn't matter now.

And yeah, we don't have any quality SEC wins of note. Good thing we got a few signature wins out of conference. I'd argue that our win over WVU is the most impressive non-conference win of any SEC team this year.

I don't get how Florida and Vandy would get in over us considering we beat them both. I could understand Georgia

H2H doesn't really matter. You got UF and Vandy both at home and beat both by a possession (UF in OT).

Why doesn't it matter? That makes no sense

If that doesn't matter then us losing to Georgia shouldn't matter

It doesn't matter because he is a Florida fan

Because it's a 30 game season.

The fact that UGA beat you three times doesn't really matter either in and of itself, but it is three decent wins for UGA and three losses for South Carolina.

The fact that South Carolina had 3/4 of its toughest SEC games at home shouldn't matter?

The fact that Florida lost to USC shouldn't matter?

So Missouri should make it over South Carolina, right?

We have a full season to work with. That's why one H2H game doesn't really matter.

Gators squared. Look across the nation. Not just sec. Would you put Florida in the tournament

Serious question.

4 points on the road OT loss.

Play it in Gainesville or Nuetral floor and what happens?

Having home court advantage in CBB is the biggest advantage ANY team could have.
