Bracket Matrix has us as a 10 seed. I'll trust them over USA today for now. Any true USC fan easily knows that we could be out and has probably already mentally prepared for it because that's just kinda how it goes being a Gamecock...

My guess is that we're in the play in game

Lunardi and Palm both have South Carolina out.

Linardi had us as a lock on Friday. He doesn't really seem to know what a lock is

Lunardi is shite for most of the year and ammends his bracket to the consensus on Selection Sunday. And when the consensus is right, everyone praises him.

This is an interesting bubble. I think Lunardi is going to be way wrong.

And this is hilarious.

The only impressive thing UGA did all season was beat South Carolina. Every other game against a good team? Loss.

If you care so much about conference record and the "eye test," then Bama is a bubble team... For the NIT. They lost at home to that dreadful Arkansas team.

Ole Miss? A team with no top 50 wins and 3 top 100 wins?

Vandy and UF have pretty much identical resumes. Vandy has a slightly better record vs. 50-100 teams but also has more bad losses. The committee could go either way on that one.

South Carolina is going to get snubbed.

Either Florida or Vanderbilt will get a Dayton spot. South Carolina won't. You can bookmark if you wish.

So has South Carolina.

But that's not important. The committee has said that it doesn't really consider "last 10" or whatever as a major factor.

Hmmm. I was scolded by several cocks by even raising the question of whether they were in or not.

ok I'll give you Vandy and Bama cause we went 0-3 against them, but we're 4-0 against uga and ole miss and have a better resume so that makes no sense.

All these teams in the sec suck and it's embarrassing these arguments to get in the tournament. Just embarrassing performances by all in the past few weeks. Alabama, Georgia, Carolina, LSU Florida, vandy. Just suck fest

Don't give him Bama. Head-to-head aside, we're way ahead of them on the cut line.

Vandy and us have pretty much identical resumes.

UF: 2-7 vs. Top 50
Vandy: 2-7 vs. Top 50

UF: 7-13 vs. Top 100
Vandy: 7-10 vs. Top 100

UF: 14-14 vs. Top 200
Vandy: 14-13 vs. Top 200

UF's best wins: WVU (home), St. Joe's (neutral)
Vandy's best wins: Texas A&M (home), Kentucky (home)

UF's "bad" losses: Tennessee (road)
Vanderbilt's "bad" losses: Mississippi State (road), Arkansas (road), Tennessee (neutral)

If you want to give Vanderbilt the advantage because of H2H, I won't complain. But I wouldn't be surprised if we get the nod.

I'd understand SC being out. But Florida isn't making it in. That is dumb.

It sure feels nice not having to worry about the bubble.

Gators squared won't give up the fight. But it's over for the gators. They aren't getting in. And comparisons to a bunch of other teams that aren't getting in either doesn't help

There were no wins in the sec sans Aggies and uk that were worth a damn. All these other conferences had better chances to get wins and it's going to cost these teams. 19-14 in the sec just doesn't cut it

Lunardi has USCe first four out today, UF isn't even on the radar. In fact he has Vanderbilt and UGA in the first and next four out, no UF. Looks like UF is around 6th in the pecking order as it stands.

We should've just scheduled the worst OOC teams in the country.

Then we would be in.
