Gustav came through BR at as a CAT 1 and the thought of having a game the next day is LOL worthy.

I honestly feel for gator fans, but unless the storm veers east(which i hope it does, my family is in gainesville)a football game is the least of their worries

Miami is 330 miles south of Gainesville, they should not be compared

security, resources, and electricity will be much more of an issue for Miami than Gainesville... If they can figure out a way to play their game, surely UF can

If you can't have it Saturday, you probably can't have it Sunday either.

If it is BR then expect like 45% attendance.

Complete horse shite! The USCe attendance was really down but that was because USCe sucked big time. A lot more on the line if Florida would be coming in and it is Florida. I'm not going to say packed house but 80,000 for sure!

because if things in the area are bad and you realize Sunday still isn't feasible then what? Just have LSU hang around town until UF is ready?

It's going through Miami a whole day earlier, again, they should not be compared. The hurricane might be dumping rain on Gainesville still by game time on Saturday.

Because they don't know if they'll need the emergency resources on Sunday and can't take the risk of having them at a football game in a state of emergency.

I think you under estimate how many people schedule things around bye and away weeks.

hell on short notice LSU probably hopes it won't be 80k anyway

There is at least one model that has it going up the FL coast taking a right turn and looping back for a 2nd run at FL. I really hope that doesn't happen.

Here are the four scnearios:

1. Game isnt moved, and the Hurricane stays East and everything is gravy

2. Game isnt moved, and the Hurricane is on its Western track and Gainesville and the rest of Florida is a mess and the president and university look like morons

3. Game is moved, and the Hurricane is on its Western track and everyone says they made the right call

4. Game is moved, and the Hurricane stays East and people say they could have played in Gainesville

Don't be a jackass, this could easily happen to LSU and we'd be pissed.

rain at gametime is no reason to cancel a game or move it to Baton Rouge. i mean you did say rain
