it was TUNSIL that made the statement about accepting money. IN PERSON. ON LIVE TV

That means nothing anymore. Auburn had 4 players say it in an HBO special. Of course they were lying according to the barn.

not that easy though, see Auburn.

Even if everyone with a brain knows something is up, unless the NCAA can get definitive, factual, hard proof nothing will be done. Ok, Tunsil publicly admitted a coach paid him. Unless the NCAA can find a money trail what can they do?

At the very LEAST it has brought more national attention to their cheating ways.

Why does the NCAA have to get proof of a money trail when people admit it? I thought they make their own rules.

What a ridiculous statement

Well, he is the one defending the murderers and robbers so it would make sense for him to say this is worse. Farese is a piece of shite, so this isn't a big surprise. We're screwed either way, but I really want to know who hacked this account and posted all of this stuff. Whoever it is doesn't owe anything to Ole Miss, but to blackmail a 21 year old and make him lose millions cause you have video of him smoking weed is pathetic. I can somewhat understand an opposing fan hating Ole Miss enough to want us to get caught, but would like to see the reason behind the hate for Tunsil, unless it's the stepdad and then it makes sense.

You have an individual with no reason to lie admit to something on live tv.

You have a set of texts validated by said individual as being real implicating two assistant ADs in the payment of said individual while enrolled as a student at ole miss.

All of this is in addition to the current investigation that had to do with said individual negotiating with agents while playing at ole miss.

So, you not only have impermissible benefits and impermissible contact with agents (which will almost undoubtedly result in the vacation of all of those wins ole miss had while Tunsil was there) but you also have institutional control issues and a possible cover up if Miller or farrar were ever interviewed and denied any wrongdoing.

This is a whole other animal from auburn. Ole miss is about to be fricked six ways from Sunday

How many college coaches do you think are sending a message to their teams about social media, phones, etc this morning?

It was actually found and released by the Dolphins...just so they wouldn't have to trade up to get him. Well played.

I agree with this.

Even Courts don't require additional proof unless it's a criminal case where the death penalty is an available sentence. His admission IS PROOF.

Why has everyone forgotten that statements are evidence? Testimony is evidence. Documents are not required.

That's the other thing: the NCAA (not the law or any code of ethics or procedure) dictates how much they need to see/know before they bring down the thunder. If this is a random event, maybe ole miss skates by it in the end. But given that they're already under investigation for separate allegations in multiple sports, this seriously could not occur at a worse time.

Since the whole hotel window thing came to light, I've been wondering if Ole Miss wouldn't have to at least end up vacating the Sugar Bowl win if agents were found to be involved in that ordeal.
