Well LSU has sent injured players to the NFL who barely saw the field, and we all can't be fricking Alabama either. Y'all are literally the only program who reloads every year and doesn't miss a beat. Enjoy it because it won't last forever. But the rest of us actually have to deal with guys leaving.

The difference is bama gets more out of them for the three years they have them and has other players ready to step in when they leave. There is a reason Saban seems to rarely redshirt the really good recruits anymore. Yes the playing time some of them get their first year seems trivial but he knows he probably only has them 3 years so might as well get them some experience. It is up to Miles to get the most out of the players for the time he has them and have compotent players ready to come in once those guys leave.

Made personnel changes and ended up with the #1 defense in the SEC.
And, we return almost everyone with all of those freshmen having another year of experience.

Cam has been fired from his last few jobs. He insist on using the full back more in the passing game than our running backs. He also wasnt able to get even a smidge of improvement all year from jennings. It was just a flat line of suck the entire year. I hope he proves me wrong and shows that he is still some qb genius but its pretty easy to question that after this year. Sure les has his fingers on the offense so its not like we are seeing a total cam offense but the results this year are worrying.
another thing that will hold LSU back is our square pieces trying to be put in the round hole. We have a zone blocking oline coach, we have dual threat qbs made for the spread, we have backs that really can fit in any system and wrs for any system. We run some what of a spread attack the second half of the wisconsin come back and then tuck that away until the a&m game. We need to get everything on the same page either shift more towards the spread like our qbs are designed for or recruit qbs that play under center and go back to an oline coach that is suited for our 1970s playbook. I think we would look alot better if we spent more time in the shotgun. We could still run power plays out of that formation and it would give buga a real chance to shine in open space.

I think order gets restored next year and we get to elite status, with the division coming down between us and the Crimson Tide.

LSU will be fine on the OL. We have plenty talent there, we need to recruit
OL for the for 2016, we'll be 11-1 and have a shot at NC in 2015. The problem is the 1 loss will be to either Bama or AU which could pose a problem for winning the west.

I agree with what you are saying for the most part, especially about lining up in the shotgun, but it was pretty obvious that he and Miles never had any faith in Jennings/Harris. I also agree that the regression of Jennings ultimately falls on Cam.
Imo if Cam can put more trust in his QB next year our offense will be fun to watch.

Bottom line is LSU has those guys for 3 years. It is up to Miles to get the most out of them for the time he has them and then have players ready to step in once they leave. Poor LSU has so much NFL talent it hurts their team. You do realize what a cope out excuse that is?
