Hell, we shut down Treadwell with our best corner and 2 starting safeties out.

And how did that moral victory turn out for you?

Pretty simple reason why we didn't pass much on your defense. Being up 24-0 at half should be self-explanatory.

Well, he was playing on one leg. Didn't you read the whole article?

well dummy why did you go to a high school offense if you wanted to learn how to go pro?

so..... guess you missed the point of the thread. If it were titled who led the sec in scoring you may have a point, but you don't. This is about preparing kids for the NFL not how to bring the game of back yard football to the SEC

Well also when you are beating a team that badly so early and your averaging 6.6 yards a rush you really don't need to get it to him.

Technically the title of the thread also wasn't "ole miss has a high school offense" so....

No dude, it is about winning football games and how you do that is up to the HC....which obviously no one here is.

Sure, wins are all that matters at the end of the day regardless of how it gets done but the thread was a discussion about how prepared/developed Treadwell was at his time at Ole Miss.

I'm not doubting he hasn't had a coach that showed him all of the nuances of the NFL game.

He is the #1 WR with a 4.6 40. That high school offense sure didn't set him back on getting to the next level. If a NFL WR coach is going to send his son to a school I'm guessing he knows more about what is needed to get to the next level over us. Treadwell is saying he has a lot to learn at the next level and hasn't had a coach get into that. He never said he wasn't developed. But we will keep passing on people with undeveloped WR and see who puts more in the NFL.

You do want to get players to the next level and Treadwell is the #1 receiver going in the first round and that is all Freezes fault. How does he sleep at night??

Wow, you win one freaking game. Oh I forget, that one win against us and 2 against Bama is the pinnacle of your football program. Congrats on that. What an amazing feat your best team ever accomplished. To bad you got dick to show for it except the banner I'm sure y'all will hang for it.

Two out of the last three and 4-4 over the last 8 years. It's more than "one game" champ

To be a first round draft pick. Which he is.

Hopefully we can elevate our receivers to Arkansas levels.

Honesty. Based on what? When's the last time Ole Miss had a first round pick at WR? The last one by Freeze or the current WR coach?

Mike Wallace was a 3rd round draft pick coached by Freeze who is doing well for himself. Guess he saw that and trusted Freeze to get him there.

That and a bag full of cash obviously.
