Does OM not have a WR coach? Or is he just a gloried Recruiter?

If tredwell has Lamar Thomas like Kentucky's WRs do then he wouldn't be complaining.

At ole miss they just hurl the ball blindly in the air and the WR's just run whatever routes they want. Sometimes the ball bounces off someone's helmet and lands in the hands of a receiver and they beat bama, and sometimes they lose to memphis

We don't need position coaches to beat Mississippi State.

You mean to tell me someone who was previously coaching QBs at Adams College isn't legit?

Will Mississippi State actually be able to stop our WR's now?

Damn. You're trying to emulate State? I thought you guys were trying to rise above. Apologies for the confusion. I suppose the rant should stop giving you guys such a hard time if you are content where you are.

This isn't about State vs OM. This is about these young men y'all are signing who aren't getting the proper coaching they need to be successful at the next level. If you want to start a new topic about these last two Egg Bowls, go for it. But please stay on topic in this thread.

That was kind of an odd interview. Maybe some of it was taken out of context by the writer? He talks bad about his coach then says this about himself....you'd think Grant Heard would be a competent WR coach based on his playing days and the coaching experience he has.

quote:

"I wasn't 100 percent the whole year," Treadwell said. "I basically played in the SEC on one leg. And to see the things I did on just natural ability and competing at a high level ... that's unbelievable to me."

No need for coaches to negative recruit ole miss. Their own ex-players will do it for you!

Yes I'm sure you would have started this thread had it been any WR from another SEC school.
