Imagine how good we be if we coached that?

Would Treadwell have listened if they had the great wr coach in the country?

Great let's compare State and Ole Miss developing WRers. Composite 247 ranking had Wilson as a 83 3* and Core as an 80 3*. But Core is still projected higher in the draft. That says a lot about our coachs development.

But this is just another ED Coach34 pet. He post it on ED and Big4Dawg runs like a good boy and spreads the message.

Core is projected to go late in the draft and the biggest knock on his scouting report is his technique and route running....

OK

quote:

Wilson was a basketball star who moonlighted as a receiver for his senior season, much to his coach's delight (31-682, seven TD receiving). Despite lacking any knowledge of how to really play the position, and not even being sure he wanted to play football, the Bulldogs put him out on the field as a true freshman. He collected 26 passes for 351 yards and three scores, learning along the way. Wilson starting 10 games in 2014, catching 47 passes for 680 yards and nine scores (including 9-105, two TD vs Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech). SEC coaches recognized his continued improvement in his third and final season with the Bulldogs, voting him second team all-conference after he started all 13 games, making 60 grabs for 918 yards and 10 touchdowns. Again he came up big in a bowl game, catching five throws for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Belk Bowl against North Carolina State.

At ole miss they just hurl the ball blindly in the air and the WR's just run whatever routes they want. Sometimes the ball bounces off someone's helmet and lands in the hands of a receiver and they beat bama, and sometimes they lose to memphis

So they clearly had an amazing talent to work with. Wilson came in as a bigger recurit then Core and is leaving projected lower then Core.

He lies, he didn't play for Auburn. I think it is bad form to throw coaches under the bus after the fact. I am hearing it more and more.

You say that like Core is a second day draft pick. He's slotted about where you'd expect a 3 star

I'm curious, how much credibility does someone have to have before fans will buy negative comments? Like if you don't buy anything your AA WR has to say, then who?

I get that my point is Big4Dawg is just spreading stuff he read on ElitiDawg from Coach34 to talk bad about Ole Miss not developing our players so I pointed out Ole Miss took took a lower ranked recurit that is projected higher in the draft. That takes development.

Perhaps he should have thought about that before accepting the money.

You compared two 3 star recruits. Unless you take their ranking out of high school as an exact science, I wouldn't put a lot of stock into that

Ole miss runs a different offense then most pros so it's not shocking he has some nuances to learn that does not mean he was not developed or coached well. If that was the case he would have said Ole Miss didn't coach or develop him.
