Tre is a great player and one of my all-time AU favorites, but better than Herschel or Bo?

I think not.

You probably need to go back and watch some film of our games last year. Just about every one we played stacked the box against us at one point or another in the games.

And Mason split carries with two other RB's that ran for over 500, plus a QB that ran for over 1000.

Do I think Mason is a better RB overall than McFadden or Walker? No, but the #'s he put up last year are impressive, and statistically on par with both of those guys, so the guy deserves a ton of credit for what he was able to do last year. He only carried the ball over 20 times in 3 of the first 8 games we played, with the highest of those being 15 for the under 20 carry games. Had he gotten 1/4 more of the carries the other 3 got, he'd have been well over 2000 yards on the ground and probably had close to 30 TDs.

If true then Auburn is about to take a huge step back.

That said, ya right Tre.

McFadden had better stats when you account for passing and return yardage. I like watching Mason, but I wouldn't put him in the same category as Mcfadden and Hershel. Great stats, though. A lot of the credit goes to Malzahn.

By passing, Im guessing you mean receiving yards

DMAC 164 avg 7.81, 1 td
TM 163 avg 13.58, 1td

Kick Return
DMAC 316, avg 19.75, 0 td
TM 395, avg 26.33, 1 td

All that pic shows is that in each of their best years, he arguably had the best.

Dude deserves a little more respect. Great numbers. That being said, instagram will not help you gain respect.

They should put an infographic together for those 3 guys, with their best 3 years.

Does that mean Ben Tate is no longer the best RB in the state?

Yeah didnt you guys see all his highlights? Exploding through the line and punishing all those defenders!? Turning plays that should be a loss into a 5 yard gain?? No me neither.
