He was last year. Not sure how you can argue against the #'s.
He has the numbers but so did Mark Ingram in 2009 and everyone (minus Bama fans) say he was one of the worst heisman winners ever.
271 carries, 1658 yards, 6.1 avg, 17 TDs
1992 total yards, 20 total TDs.

Why didn't he put Bo up there?

I think @SEC_SportsTalk does those

Ask yourself this. would you honestly take Tre over McFadden and Herschel?

Hell. No.

I have only seen Herschel on film but its still obvious how dominant he was. McFadden couldn't be stopped or caught by anyone unless he was injured. Could take it to the house from anywhere at any time.

stat-wise... well... numbers dont lie!

ETA: but also you need to take into account that the scheme Auburn ran allowed him to get in the secondary before contact is even made. kid is talented though cant take that away. his lateral movement always amazed me

Wow I thought he had more attempts. Too many replays from that game

4 TDs as a thrower is hella impressive

I would like to see Malzahn's reaction to that. He'd give a big at Tre.

Herschel is an all-time great in the Herschel and Bo category.

DMC is slighly under those two although DMC is 2nd in yards all time in the SEC.

Are you forgetting DMC also shared carries with Felix Jones? He also was over 1k yards every year I think, could be wrong.

In his career, he was 14-22 for 206 yards and 7 TD's. Talk about efficient.

He's trying to boost his draft positioning. As a RB, I'd lobby for myself as much as possible, more so than any other position.

hard to believe those 2 were on the same team... (with hillis) absolute monsters

hopefully out of CAP, Grant, Barber, or tROC we will have stars like them

DMAC accounted for over half the teams carries in his 2007 year, Mason did not, FWIW

That's because Auburn ran the ball 104 more times than Arkansas did in '07.

I don't see your point. McFadden still had more carries with lesser stats.

Herschel ran for 4.9ypc with 8 in the box. Mason ran for 5.7ypc with 4-5 in the box.

No its not, but nice try. Mason ran the ball 8 less times than DMAC, and shared the ball more with other people on the team
