The Big 12 is a joke of conference and tu gets rent-a-wins in UTEP, Cal, OSU, ISU, K-State, Tech, WVU and Kansas. If he doesn't win 8 games on talent alone he's terrible.

Agreed, but the comparisons should scare you.
Remember that Fran had the #8 recruiting class in 2005. The 2005 season didn't go so well.

This is where people have issues with you guys. As a fanbase, the vast majority of you are incredibly sensitive and annoying about this. Texas A&M is obviously not a nationally recognized brand with a historic repertoire of success like THE University of Texas. It's always been evident. You're comparing a school who has rarely amounted to much on the national landscape in 50 years to a school with two decades of top tier football talent with a national championship and multiple ten win seasons to show for it.

AnM brought it all on themselves. They came in humble, but after they beat bama in a fluke year they all of a sudden thought they were equals and without understanding the full competitive dynamic between LSU n bama, started flaming LSU like there is no tomorrow and kissing bamas butts. Bama fans got creeped out by it and told AnM to basically get off their sack bc while bama and LSU hate each other, there is still some amount of respect there. Then AnM was so committed to flaming LSU by that time, they couldnt rescind and look like a bunch of pansies, so they started to look elsewhere for friends. Arky and Ole Miss have a healthy dislike for LSU too, so they started trying to join up with them. This has been tolerated for awhile, but it looks like arky (who has never liked AnM anyway) is starting to lash out at them now too, BC AnM are a bunch of losers and arkys are at least a little respected here (for track). Ole Miss will prob start kicking Aggy in the teeth as well soon, and the ags will regert coming to the sec. They should've just stayed humble and not burned all their bridges until they figured out the dynamic of sec fanbases toward each other.... But, ags gonna ag. Now, nobody here respects them and all they do is troll LSU trying to spark a rivalry that LSU fans don't even recognize.

Tennessee has the same number of national titles as Texas does in my lifetime.
Are either considered a better program than TCU (a school who has no outright major conference titles in over 40 years) right now?
