The crap going on between Gamecock / Citadel fans the week of the SC/Citadel game this past season was ridiculous. Couldn't go onto our rivals site without 3 or 4 threads talking about the smack coming from the Bulldog fans.
eta: Personally I have nothing against the Citadel but my best friend's dad is like they described. He is a Citadel grad, has nothing to say about sports until SC/Citadel play and then next thin you know he is suddenly real excited about "how the Citadel is going to beat SC" As you can imagine his son, a huge Gamecock fan, was reminded of 1990 quite a bit.
