One of the reasons I stopped posting on here as much. I read it and became a part of it. Not something I want to do anymore.

So was "hands up don't shoot" but people celebrated that shite when athletes endorsed it in interviews.

Who gives a shite what someone wants to give credit to in a meaningless interview? It's completely irrelevant.

Well considering there isn't any actual evidence, it would be a fact.

There is actually quite a bit of evidence from historic documents to modern day events. You just choose not to believe it. I have always said that Jesus could take an atheist on a full guided tour of heaven and hell. The atheist could record the entire experience in 4K quality with perfect sound. And the majority of non believers will say the video is fake and will explain in detail every part of it that is fake. It is about being open minded and allowing the evidence to lead you to wherever that might be. This can be difficult for some.

Good AM EKG

FYI, a 3 seed beating an 11 seed traditionally doesn't "bust brackets"

Congrats on dispatching Northern Iowa though

I am about as close to atheist as a non-atheist can get. The only thing that keeps me from going over the atheist edge is that, while there is no credible direct evidence that a creator god exists, the circumstantial evidence is pretty overwhelming. How did the universe come into existence? What caused the big bang. How can a pile of rocks and water turn into such complex organisms as human beings without some sort of help?

Dude want's to praise a god he believes in. That's not hurting me anyone else. What does hurt me is when religious jackasses try to force me into their belief system. That goes for the jihadist, Christian crusaders, or any other religious zealot trying to force their shite on me. THAT is where religion goes wrong.

That Adam and Eve existed?

You've brought delusion to a whole other level, I'm sort of impressed. I'd love to hear of this "modern day" evidence, though I'm sure it's no more than Nostradamus-esque ambiguities.

There is literally NO contemporary evidence that Jesus existed, any real historian can tell you that.

There is 1000000000x more evidence Jesus was here than there is evidence of evolution

But you seem obsessed with hating others beliefs so you just keep doing your thing

shite I don't know, lol. And neither does anybody else.

Do you know any Gods, cause I don't? So, how would you know what evidence of a God even is?

I don't know. But how does a story about an angry, childish god that plays tricks on humans, commit horrible atrocities, and save rich people from cancer and help Aggies win basketball games while he lets poor people starve seem somehow more believable?

And if you can say where did it all come from, you have to ask "where did God come from?" An all knowing, all powerful being has just somehow existed for all eternity for no reason. Yeah. right.

and this is where our conversation ends, because this is 1000000000000000% demonstrably false, and you wouldn't believe in evolution if you saw evidence of it every day right in front of you, because you do. I think it's pretty obvious that dogs come from wolves, that would be evolution my friend.

And for, I don't hate your beliefs, I just think they're wrong.

You are more than welcome to discuss this topic on the OT board. Start a vague thread that is, sigh, not a religious thread but something about spirituality. There are several guys over there who can debate this topic more throughly than I can and they will show up eventually. Of course the atheist crew will show up as well. We might get a pretty good discussion going before the thread is wacked. Discussion about God is always good.

Y'all do realize that you're wasting your time, right?

Some folks on here are atheist or agnostic. Nothing posted here will sway their opinion of the way things are. That's ok.

Some folks on here are religious. Nothing posted here will sway their opinion of the way things are. That's ok.

I mean, y'all can go round and round till the cows come home if you want to, but it ain't gonna make a lock of difference

I generally just leave the threads with an atheist tilt to them alone instead of rushing in to stir up shite

The overwhelming majority (like 95%) of historians agree Jesus or someone whom the Jesus character represents existed.

Now there's no reason to believe in his divinity apart from the NT, but to argue he didn't exist is a huge stretch. The few in academia who do are trying way too hard to disprove the belief system. Nonody argues Muhammad didn't exist but that doesn't make Islam any less absurd.
