No, put he isn't close to as valuable or good as JFF. Never said it's his fault

AJ isn't as good as JFF. Can we stop arguing about it?

My point is every game is a big test for JFF. He has to score 40 or more or his team will lose.

I will agree with this. Manziel has to bring his A-game every game otherwise A&M would get blown out. They're not a very good team.

Has any other QB caught more shite for being a winner than A.J.?

Any other school with a 2 time National Champion QB going for a 3rd NC would be a Heisman lock..

Not AJ. Not Bama.
bullshite.

JFF, Mett, Murray, Winston etc. could do the same with Bama

What you said is just an opinion. The fact is none of those players have accomplished what AJ has.

I won't be that disappointed if AJ doesn't win the Heisman because it really is all about the TEAM at Alabama. That doesn't change the fact that his performance in just this year with leading his team through O-Line changes and early miscues, certainly makes him Heisman worthy.

We're cool I was talking to CRIMSONWHITE who said no other QB could do what AJ does. And i respectfully disagree

Not as good? Agreed. Not as valuable. Strongly disagree. There is no other player on that Alabama team who could run the offense like AJ McCarron. If he goes down our season is over. And there is a big difference from a Capital One Bowl appearance and a BCS National Championship Game appearance. Let me tell you.

JFF and Winston are the frontrunners, but AJ would be a worthy recipient as well. The award is for the most "outstanding" player, not the one with the best stats. AJ may go down as one of the winningest and most decorated players in CFB. And he plays in a balanced offense that actually runs the ball. If he got to throw the ball 35 times a game like some of these other guys his stats would be alot higher as well. Not to mention the fact that he is usually on the bench the last quarter, quarter and a half in most Bama games because of blowout wins. He could easily have an additional 500-800 yards passing and half dozen or more TD's if Bama wanted to pad his stats. Fact.

So you think FSU and A&M have the same weapons and OLine AJ has?

The guy who has played absolutely outstanding lights-out football and has been the MVP of more big-time nationally-relevant games than any other player in college football history

is gonna go down as a game manager

It wasn't too long ago when rival fans said our offensive line was shite this year. What a difference a couple of months make, huh?

I mean less valuable because i think JFF is the only player in all of college football that could have A&M where they are today. However, i feel there are 5-7 players that could have Bama where they are

I don't see many Bama fans claiming he is the Heisman front runner, Alabama is a great TEAM we don't rely on one guy to win ball games. Ill take NC trophies over Heisman any year
That right there is why Alabama can win with consistancy at an elite level. I'll take a great TEAM any day over one great player.

It will come down to what have you done lately. Mariotta is done, JFF won't win it again over an undefeated McCarron. Winston could win it.

AJ gets a little momentum late and he can win. I think AJ has a better chance than Ingram did at this point in the season.

He has been surrounded, his whole career, by NFL talent at OL, RB, WR, and D...right or wrong, he will be seen as a game manager.

Youre right. AJ is not outstanding from his team. He is doing a fantastic job managing the offense. He is a very good player. He is a BCS champion, but not a Heisman winning player. Big deal I rather have rings over a trophy.

I do enjoy the whole AJ just has so much talent around him that he doesn't have to do to much argument.

Mett has a NFL RB and two NFL WR's

JFF has Evans and has had multiple 1st rounders blocking for him

Winston is surrounded by future pros on his offense

Most of the guys have a lot of weapons, but it is only fault when discussing AJ's standing as a QB.
