Grinders, with the Arky and Auburn game determining 5th and 6th.

I'll go MSU, but there is going to be a tight four team race.

Arkansas: 40%

Little talent, especially on defense. New coach who will change the team from a spread passing program to a power run program. That's not an easy transition.

Auburn: 30%

Little talent on defense, couldn't recruit a worse crop of QBs if they tried. Not exactly lighting it up on the recruiting trail right now.

Miss State: 15%

The '12 collapse might have done serious damage to their faith in the system. The defense folds against air. Players might quit on Merlins.

Ole Miss: 10%

Not likely, but possible. It's not like the Rebels really out-talent anyone. If other programs improve, someone's gotta be last.

LSU: 5%

I don't question the talent, but this will be a ridiculously young team on defense and I question the direction of the program. Even a program like LSU can't just plug in freshmen and sophomores and ho-hum along. I also question the players' faith in the system. Still, they're more talented than any of the other "candidates".

It's actually a really good question. I could easily be AU, Arky, State, or Ole Miss.

Tough question: We can rule out BAMA, LSU, A&M and Ole Miss.

MSST returns a pretty good veteran QB so that gives them the edge over Au and Ark.

Both Au and Ark are breaking in new coaching staffs. Ark has the proven Head Coach while Au's overal staff may be a little better but Au has to play at Ark so that would give Ark the edge.

Hell, it's really a toss up between Ark and Au but I'm a Bama Alum so I'll go with Au

I see the conference finishing the same way but Ole Miss probably 3rd behind A&M. Think its a down year for LSU.

easily Mississippi state. I'd set it at around 80% probability. the other 20% split evenly between Auburn, Arkansas, and LSU.
