I hate to rain on all y'alls hopes and dreams here, but there is absolutely no way LSU finishes worse than 4th next year. I think even that's a stretch though. We'll most likely get 3rd with 2nd being the next likely

Poor young Tigers. They think they have been and will be a top 10 team in perpetuity.

yeah I'm not trolling. just my prediction. LSU has no senior leadership, a brutal schedule, and was two plays away from losing 5 games this year.

If we couldn't finish there as hard as Johnelle tried, I don't think we'll finish there with CBB.

Grinders vs. the Flagship for last place.

These statements are retarded. LSU was also a single play(an interception on the last drive) from winning the West and having a shot at the National Championship.

Right, but the point is it's not ridiculous to think you could have a bad season either. Nobody was killing it except Bama.

Honestly I have to admit that I think Arkansas will finish last in the west. I'm looking at Ole Miss and they seem to be on the rise and their recruiting is pretty good. MSU has had Merlins in place for several years and I believe he'll be able to coach his system there.

Arkansas, on the other hand, loses a lot of the offense and we have brand new coaches, and Petrino's recruiting was not that great. We have too many WRs and not enough OL, LBs, and DBs. It's going to be a tough year--I think we finish 5-7, with a shot at 6-6 or maybe even 7-5 if the ball bounces our way.

edit: Oh yeah, and our RB depth is abysmal. We're going to rely on a true sophomore who probably had less than 30 carries last year, a junior who had a season-ending knee injury, a beanpole, and whoever we can manage to recruit before signing day this year.

Could be us but who knows? I do however like our odds being the fact that a lot of our players were recruited for CGMs offense.

it seems like the consensus is the grinders. for good reason, zero wins over decent teams under merlins. arky, ole miss, and auburn will all be improved. the team clearly quit on Merlins at the end of the season. Kentucky v msu will be the toilet bowl this year IMO.
