USCe could go 2-0 against the west this year and I expect 7-8 wins from y'all. If UT doesn't preform then y'all will be battling us for the #1 spot. Y'all's offense is legit but D needs some work.

Btw OP is pessimistic as frick, no knock on him but he's been saying this for a while. The east will be OK this year.

The East has a real chance to have a winning record against the West this year and start flipping things a bit - at least move things back towards some balance.

This will not be a "new low" for the East ... it'll not be as low as some of the West's years in the 90s.

UGA is very capable of beating Auburn ... I'm not sold on Auburn yet. Let's see what they do against the taterheads. Y'all will beat Miss St.

SC has to go to A&M and has Arkansas at home ... two tough games.

Kentucky vs MSU ... who knows.

Vandy vs Ole Miss ... doubtful.

UF vs LSU ... doubtful.

Tennessee vs Bama ... ehhhhh, probably not.

Mizzou ... they'll have a hard time against Arkansas, many teams will, and who else from the West, A&M?

I dunno - it's going to be an interesting season. It's past time for the East to start turning this around on the gridiron. The East already dominates most of the other sports in the league.

Idk why a lot of people put aub3rn as a favorite, look how well it did them in the past.

Not saying you're doing that your post just reminded me of when people do.

I think USCe will be undefeated vs the west this year.

UK, Missouri, and Vandy are still fluff.

We'll be fine. We lost to the Mustard Buzzards last year and went on to win seven games.

Oh, so I guess you missed how UGA shut their asses out until the 3rd string qb threw two ints. Or the fact that UGA played a team with a pulse that actually had a winning record. Stupid frick.

And when talent is ranked higher the previous year and it played better than then untalented teams it is always better. Now go shut the frick up until you actually know something about the sport.

That not asking too much to swing it to 7-7 or 8-6 our way. Of course some teams need to show some improvement from yesterday to do it.

This is the point. The East, as a whole, didn't show anything to suggest it should happen.

If we lose to Tech it will suck balls but better that than an SEC game. You can recover from an early OOC loss but Tennessee can't afford to drop conference games with BOTH BAMA and LSU on the schedule.

Well, imo, Vandy, USC, and UGA looked better to start the season than last year. Mizzou's O is gonna give people fits and UK looked ok. Only UF looked worse. UT is TBD.

USC looked pretty good, against a sound opponent.

Yeah, and everyone in the West looked to have gotten better, save aTm. Even they looked great before the collapse.

Again, nothing to suggest the East has closed the gap.

Yeah. It's one of the reasons there's not much reason to think we win the East. We'd have to split a substantially tougher draw and own the East record. That's tough to do.

Well, by that token there's nothing to say the West is better

Except the last 8 years or so.
